  1. Yeah he could be a pretty sizable trade bait. He's one of the higher rated defense prospects in the NHL.
  2. I actually think that last night was so bad that he doesn't see the team next year unless injuries happen and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being part of the trade bait to fix the second line.
  3. Nikishin was a net positive for me because he was at least physical and his shot was an absolute bomb. Yea he made a few mistakes but not nearly as many as Morrow made last night.
  4. Yet even with all that if it wasn't for 3 turnovers by a rookie and an uncharacteristic Staal turnover. They only score 1-2 goals and that game goes into OT.
  5. Statistically he did lose the game. Either the 3 turnovers and the -3 because he cause three goals with those bad turnovers or you can go with game score and it being a -4.5. Statistically and eyeball test Morrow was so bad that I'm not sure he even gets a chance to crack the team next year.
  6. I'm trying to rack my brain but I'm not sure I've seen a player with a worse game than this one by Morrow and I've been watching Hockey for 30 years.
  7. Noooooo, he did it because Morrow is a right handed shot. :insert dumbest dumb face absolutely possible:
  8. He's directly responsible for 3 and gave them the PP for the fourth .. I'd say that's about as big of a detriment one player can be in 12m of ice time.
  9. Need to get one quick and then fight for that second one.
  10. Power play for the Canes. Need a goal here
  11. Refs have already missed a trip, a cross check and a slash in the first
  12. He's been around a little longer, knows our system a little better than I think Niki (Nikishin) does and he played well when he came up [during the regular season]," said the Canes' coach. "There's a righty-lefty [factor] that does matter, a little bit. Those little things help, and I think he's earned the right to have a shot, so we'll see." That's Brindamour's answer to that question.
  13. Rumors are that the Hornets are looking at VJ, Bailey, Johnson and Maluach with the fourth pick. Last ones a bit of a surprise for me.
  14. If you count the playoffs and preseason, the NHL is playing games for all but three months of the year. 27 week reg season, few weeks for pre season, 8-9 weeks for the playoffs. Think it's roughly 40 out of 52 weeks a year. Which is kinda insane when you think about it.
