  1. Probably the best one I could come up with. You could swap whatever your favorite wr was for Franklin I suppose. There was a ton of talent sitting there at the top of R3
  2. Probably my favorite draft I've seen recently. I'm gonna be pretty disappointed if they don't go center early banking on Corbett to stay healthy or even be good at center seems risky especially considering how much money they just dumped into RG and LG Lot of people hate Frankin but he's my top pick at WR. And for people worried about him not being physical enough that's what Brendan Rice and the TEs are for. Mingo and TMJ definitely have the size for it.
  3. Is that excluding the Edge rushers who are also technically LBs in the 3/4? If that's the case then I guess so. Jewell and Shaq seem decent enough but not great. Idk who their backups are.
  4. Because we have holes at several positions. - CB is a poo show if/when Horn goes down - C is a huge problem If Corbett goes down or is simply not good at playing center. - Edge we have Clowney who is decent on a good year. Otherwise bunch of JAGs at Edge rusher - RB/TE: Not huge needs but we have no one at either position to write home about by any means. Particularly need a good power runner to convert short yardage, that's been an issue with this team since Cam and Jstew left. Its also a deep WR class you can get good WRs well into R3 and R4 most likely. And maybe a some sleepers in R5.
  5. It's hard to blame you for going defense early. It might be the most likely possibility if the panthers aren't absolutely in love with the WR options By all indications R1 should be full of QBs, OTs, and WRs for the most part. We could be getting something like #3 or ,#4 option in the draft at several defensive positions that's bit tantalizing especially with extra picks. And possibly the #1 or #2 LB, Center, RB, and TE. LB stands out the most to me as the best value in R2. High high chance you're getting the best ILB in the draft at 33 and that's the position our gm played lol
  6. Only 4 days until draft day!! I did an interesting one where I didn't get a WR until the last pick. But I really addressed other needs pretty well and also regained a 2nd round pick for next year(we traded our original 2nd rounder in 2025 for Bryce to the Bears)
  7. That's pretty insane if you think about it. Would mean we don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick next year year. Combine that with us spending a poo ton of cap space this year its gonna put you in between a rock and a hard space in the 2025 off season We really gotta get out of the habit of trading away future high round picks.
  8. I know they aren't similar receivers but we brought both DJ Chark and Diontae Johnson in on one year deals in consecutive years.. I hope we get a lot more out of Johnson. It's pretty sad because people were absolutely drooling over chark and Bryce in training camp. He ended up being way worse than I thought not even serviceable. People need to stop getting their hopes up in training camp but theres always a darling everyone falls in love with every off-season who doesn't do poo in the regular season
  9. I've got some issues with this one it takes fuging forever to Sim the picks after you make a pick
  10. I'm afraid to ask how you got to 25 without trading pick 39
  11. Tried one without taking a WR early to mix it up. Less than 1 week left to draft day!
  12. Really good way to start a draft but you know the draft never goes exactly the way you expect it to go
  13. Tepper is the direct cause of this downward spiral the teams been on for the last half decade
  14. If he was pick 33 that would be straight up trolling by Dan Morgan. With any decent WRs Centers/Guards or pass rushers on the board. No fuging way.
  15. I don't know If that's a good thing. At the very least these rumors of an overly obvious obsession/early reports remind of last draft. Debate what you will but everyone saw the year CJ had vs Bryce. Going by what we've heard thus far it would seem like they're locked in on Legette Not sure that there is any threat of him going in R1 unless someone makes a surprise pick.
  16. The best one from last year was DJ Johnson. Every panther channel I followed who reacted to it live were genuinely thrown off by it and I was too. Even among some of the draft heads this pick seemed to come out of left field. Also to some degree not many were expecting Mingo either. Bryce was a boring pick because there had been too many different rumors 3 weeks and less leading to draft day. I do remember seeing a dude there on draft day wearing a Panthers jersey with "Stroud" on it, people were laughing at him but in hindsight its not so funny anymore.
  17. Not a big fan of any of these pairings I find it interesting that a lot of places have us taking WR and CB instead of WR and Center
  18. Here's another good one
  19. My favorite WRs are Franklin, Worthy, and A.Mitchell. Not a popular take I guess. Almost everyone else is lusting over the Mingo clone.
  20. Makes no sense at all https://www.profootballnetwork.com/pfn-consensus-2024-nfl-mock-draft-april-13/ 33 Kool Aid McKinstry CB Alabama 39 Trey Benson RB Florida State 65 Malachi Corley WR Western KY 101 Spencer Rattler QB USCarolina 141 Hunter Nourzad OC Penn State 142 Braelon Allen RB WI 240 Eric Watts Edge UCONN Two RBs??? No o line until late. What is the logic for getting a RB at pick 39 instead of a C, WR, DR, or LB?? Corley seems like a project.
  21. That was a really good write up. I'd love those first 2 picks but it's so hard to not see one of them being a WR. I guess in a way that would seriously say something about how highly they value those dudes if neither are a WR.
  22. Blah Not a big fan of that one. Maybe a decent CB, and then Coleman is probably the least exciting pick we could make at WR. The mid round picks are solid at least.
