  1. My general thought process is that scouting QBs takes a lot more then watching the ooooo and ahhhh throws and getting behind the player. If finding a QB in college was easy everyone would have their qb but there are so many factors that go into it and yes LUCK does have some factor too such as the year/position you’re drafting.
  2. That's one of the draft knocks I've seen on the whole process is that the more film there is the more to pick at when it doesn't need pickin...Justin Herbert was a big example of that.
  3. It’s early July before training camp. People are on vacation.
  4. Mr. Scot put my lack of coffee brain argument into a simple point.
  5. Im not saying its great but when you don't have an elite qb all qb rooms are kinda just meh You better hope that QB 1 is better than half the league and I feel like a middle of the road qb is better than what we've had over the last 4 years. Lock and Geno? Rudolph, Trubisky, and Pickett? Mariota and Ridder? Goff and Boyle? Mills, Kyle Allen, and Driskol? Jones, Taylor, and Davis Webb? Winston and Andy Dalton? Fields, Peterman, and Siemien? There's is a whole lot of sub par rooms which is why having an actual QB 1 goes a longgggg way. You add Allen, Mahomes, Stafford etc to any of those room and they are instant better but again I'm just arguing that finding that QB 1 is priority 1.
  6. He arguing the qb room is awful is he not? Baker with Sam backing up and Matt in development is not awful. I get it you hate Baker but I think it’s an improvement.
  7. Warren Sharp’s argument is disingenuous. Darnold was the bad deal yes but trading picks for a developmental player and a 2024 pick for a possible decent qb is a bad thing? Skip Bayless is a clown and Baker fan boy and his take basically is a win win for him. Baker fails he was right about the panthers, Baler succeeds and he’s great for leading the awful Panthers. He can’t lose.
  8. Rollercoasters of meltdowns and joy. I love this place
  9. I personally believe Judge took offense that he was “second fiddle” for the giants and was aiming at Rhule but that’s just my personal opinion.
  10. Remember how there was no “good luck in future endeavors” in the TSE statement…shows why. Left on bad terms on Glicks part.
  11. Keep MAR or have a player Mutiny…hmmm which one am I choosing.
  12. Biggest Leap Derrick Brown- off season conditioning this plush the 3rd year light switch. He’s shown flashes and when he’s focused he can’t be blocked. Biggest Fall Donte Jackson- I don’t think he falls “hard” per say but I get the feeling he will be the “why did we pay him” player next year.
  13. So if we aren’t giving up yards but giving up points it tells me the offense is leaving the defense with shitty field position. The number of 3 and outs for our offense put us 29th in the league. But it’s all the defenses fault.
  14. This isn’t a bad defense. A bad defense was 2011. The defense suffered because the offense turned the ball over left and right. We were tied 29th in offensive turnovers. The “article” even argued that the defense will suffer because of the same. This is a good defense not great but good.
  15. This is a reflection on the Observer. It’s why the writers are trying to unionize.
  16. Clearly he’s using this spot to spy for McDermott. WELCOME BACK LUKE 🥹
  17. Not to sound sour but last time that was the case that didn’t really work out for Luck in the end. If you’re the #1 player you just have to accept you’re not going to a #1 situation. The whole “I’m not playing for them” thing annoys me when your a draft prospect and not a free agent. also was reading there are much better high school QB prospect than Manning.
  18. Did see an interesting theory that after OTAs that Seattle saw Geno and Lock were “not it” so they are looking to add but I’m of the opinion that’s not really true because the mandatory OTA stuff really doesn’t show squat because its glorified walk thrus.
  19. Carroll has worn out his welcome in Seattle and a number of people I talked to in Seattle when I went last fall were hoping he retried at the end of the season…Wilson leaving probably increased that sentiment.
  20. Anyone getting the vibe this is being pushed out by Cleveland for us to bite?
