    I don’t think he has it in him. Someone needs to whisper in his ear there’s nothing left to prove. I fully believe having so many teams needing coaches this year allowed him the opportunity to come back.

    Seattle has the writing on the wall of going full reset. No need to burden their cap with Deshaun when they can be in the Stroud/Young driver seat. Especially with the Bobby Wagner release.

    With the collateral today and the number of teams that won’t need a coach next year they probably were planning on Pete retiring in 2022 and going for the 2023 cycle.

    The issue with Washington is this…it is a toxic building (yeah I’ll save you the breath blah blah Dave Matt and Marty Hurney and Jerry the Jean Day man) but RG3 spilled the beans on how TOXIC that franchise is and Ron has taken strides to clean things up but Snyder can’t get out of the way.

    Desmond Ridder is a name that did trend upwards after the combine for a number of teams. Going into the combine the flavor was this was the 2013 class all over again but now scouts seem to be saying these dudes have potential. I really think there can be enough smoke drummed up for someone like Washington or Pittsburgh to trade up.

    Lol I love it. Denver has been putting all their bread in that basket. This also shakes up the Steelers plans. If we wanted to trade down this helps us.

    Having great technique goes a long way in being an interior guy, this is where his wrestling background greatly helps him.

    End of the day…if he’s not traded and he stays healthy it helps Carolina and if some team throws a 1st and a pick/a player then it helps Carolina so really as long as he’s healthy there isn’t a downside.

    There’s no way he doesn’t appeal. There probably is some argument that he was on a leave of absence. The thing is he was still under contract so idk.
