  1. Guess I'm just a glutton for punishment.
  2. So says this guy. You can't really argue against what he he's saying when he post videos to back it up. I do disagree with him when he says its not on Canales though. He calls the plays and if the receivers aren't getting open, thats on him or the OC. Anyway, I know a lot of you will disagree with him but it's still worth a watch.
  3. Soft, lack of urgency, no intensity all apply. As an example this pic shows 3 panthers around the punt returner and yet he still runs it in for a TD. Basically everyone was just waiting around for something to happen as opposed to making something happen. I think it pretty much sums up the Panthers as a team at this point.
  4. They question if the Canales is coaching "scared". They wonder if he's afraid of messing up and they question why Tet has all the dropped balls (remind you of another rookie?) Just the first 4 minutes are on the panthers
  5. I can agree with the taking chances part but his YPA, which everyone complains about with BY, aren't any better. I say this as a BY supporter but at this point, I would put Dalton in just to see how much, if any, the offense improves. My guess would be not much if any.
  6. "We even saw it last year—Andy threw the ball well, made the right decision and moved the offense down the field." No he didn't. Dalton is 1-4 as a starter with Canales. His completion rate is slightly higher than Youngs (66% vs 60%), but his Int % is higher than Youngs ( 7/6 vs 18/9) and his yards per attempt are barely higher at 6.2 than Youngs at 5.9. These are starter only stats. For comparison, Dalton had a 67% completion rate, a 18/9 TD to Int ratio and averaged 7.6 y/a when he was with NO. The Panthers are were QB's come to die.
  7. I agree about him being rattled.
  8. When Bryce scored three TD's against the Cardinals, all you haters would say is it was because the Cardinals let up. It was garbage time. Yet when Dalton comes in, it isn't. Not sure thats a fair comparison. Secondly, I was simply responding to your statement that the offense wasn't doing enough to keep the Defense off the field. I just pointed out you were wrong.
  9. Obviously but that has nothing to do with my response.
  10. The Panthers had 320 yards to the Pats 307, they had 21 first downs compared to 16 for the Pats and they held the ball for 35 minutes compared to 24 for the Patriots. The offense did more than their part in keeping the Pats offense off the field.
  11. Again, I am not defending him but putting the blame on him for Sundays loss is just ridiculous. Put it this way, in order for them to have won, Bryce would have thrown 7 TD's.
  12. the offense is also the one unit that has been bad every single game Not nearly as bad as the defense. They set a record last year for points allowed last year in case you didn't hear. One unit, has had all of our resources dumped into it the last several years as the expense of having a well built team. That’s our offense. Tershawn Wharton, 54 million Tre’Von Moehrig 51 million Patrick Jones II 20 million Bobby Brown III 21 million These were all signed before the season to bolster the defense and the defense gave up 3 rushing TD's and 2 passing TD's yesterday with Drake Maye going 14/18 passing. And again, ST gave a TD and good field position on punts. Again, I am not defending Bryce's play yesterday. He didn't play nearly good enough but the teams problems go way beyond just him.
  13. WHAT? They gave up 2 passing TD's and 3 rushing TD's on only 300 yards. They were 14/18 passing and were 4/4 in the red zone. They only had 300 yards because they didn't need. I don't see how you can be happy with that.
  14. Bryce doesn't run ST's or the Defense. Special teams gave up a TD as well as long punt returns and the defense gave way too many big plays AGAIN. I'm not defending Bryce here. He didn't look good today and that's on him but the HC is responsible for the failings of the ST's and defense - not BY. Today was a total sh*t show and it all falls in Canales lap alone.
  15. It sure is nice to see the defense playing competently. Hopefully they can continue the trend.
  16. 5 of them occured against the Steelers. They only have 1 in the other two games
  17. Time will tell but it does look encouraging
  18. First, I know it's a small sample size but as any long time Panther's fan knows, it's been hard to find anything positive to talk about so I figure it's worth pointing out. He may just be "the" guy
  19. The Jags are 2-1, the Cardinals are 2-1 only losing to the 49's at the last second and the Falcons scored 22 and 20 against the Vikings and Bucs the two weeks prior to the Panthers. Not sure I would consider any of them trash.
  20. I've never been an Evero fan but ignoring all the BY noise, I can't help but notice that they have been fairly solid so far this year. Not perfect, but definetly heading in the right direction. Hopefully they will keep it up and I can post a big apology to him at the end if the season.
  21. I wouldn't say the Patriots are easy. They are playing very good football right now. They easily outplayed the Steelers but could'nt stop turning the ball over. That should be the most difficult of the 4
