Madden is one of the greatest Game franchises of all time. That isn’t up for the debate. What IS up for the debate is the integrity of the game. Madden has ZERO competition and it is a well known fact that the game has been subpar for years. They don’t have to improve anything because teenagers and adult man childs will continue to buy every year.

I religiously bought FIFA, NCAA FB, and Madden every year. Midnight release for the football games. I just simply don’t have the time to game like I used to but I’ve been trying to get a new XB or PS5 but even then I doubt I’ll get the FIFA or Madden again. I know Madden blows but heard FIFA is garbage now as well.

I have a switch that I share with the kiddos but the last game I bought for myself was RDR2 - which is a certified masterpiece. I haven’t played it in over a year but was thinking about playing it again.

Fair enough. The game got so stupid when I was in to gaming I quit buying it and I was one of the kids going to GameStop for midnight releases.

Madden is what happens when a once awesome video game buys off all the competition and just regurgitates the same garbage year and year and people still buy. It has been irrelevant for at least a decade. I think the last one I bought had Drew Brees on the cover. game was a big deal though when I was in college

Everyone handles new found wealth differently. It’s fair to pass judgement when you hear about rich athletes and celebrities being god awful tippers and getting a DUI because they didn’t pay for an Uber - it’s not ok to whine about a pro athlete deciding to or not to pay for a family members funeral or medical expenses.

Yep. Don’t know what’s going on with the family, don’t know the extent of the relationship to Matt and frankly it’s incredible ignorant to just expect someone who you don’t know and happens to be a pro athlete is on the hook for funeral expenses. They might just need some money to help with bills and if you are not involved with the family you don’t need to worry about it. Donate or butt out. Good Lord.
