Did you actually see the play?
-
Odds of being traded. Sanders, low. We would trade him, but probably not much of a market. Clowney, probably our most likely, but I am thinking that we must not be getting many offers. Thielen, coming off an injury, not likely to get much if we do trade. No one else really worth discussing.

Honestly, that was probably his worst throw of the game, probably should have been intercepted. After that though, he seem to settle in and make more consistent throws. Ironically, the interception was probably one of his best throws ever in the NFL. He laid it right into XL's arms.

Strength of schedule and point differential are irrelevant. All I wanted to see are some signs of improvement. And we did. Bryce looked like an actual NFL qb and the defense looked a little better. Still a long way to go, but any improvement is a good thing. -

We played better in the red zone. Also, if you notice, our pass rush picked up towards the end, we got some sacks and forced some holding calls. They had twice as much penalty yardage as we did. -
To many side out passes that New Orleans was sitting on, but other than that, not to bad. Honestly, he was better than the aints coaches.

2 last year, 4 this year, 8 next year, 16 the year after that. -

If we double our win total every year, that would be great. -

Thomas got hit in the head way to much. -
At the time, he still had a slight chance to win. Would have cut the lead to 11 with 6 minutes left. I think he just didn't think it thru. Of course, following that play, Clemson gave up an easy td, so it became irrelevant. But at the time, it didn't make much sense.

At very least, one of his assistants should have told him, hey coach, being down by 11 is better than being down by 12. Didn't matter anyway.
-
Well, that is game for Clemson. Their offense played poorly, and their run defense got abused.

Can Dabo not count? Kicking the xp there accomplished nothing.

While anything could happen, right now Miami and SMU have the inside path to the ACC championship game. I don't see either of them losing another game.
-
I agree, Bryce is about the only significant rookie Canales has worked with. He didn't work with Wilson at Seattle, not sure if any other rookies are really worth mentioning.
-
I am not sure if we draft Cam Ward, Sanders or any other qb. But if we do, he should sit for a year at least. Let him sit behind Dalton or some other vet and actually learn how to handle the NFL from a guy who has been doing it for a while.
-
Not just the owners. The GM and other front office personnel, Media, and Fans do as well. There are a large number of people here on this site that believe anyone drafted in the top ten or maybe in the first round have to be ready to go from day one. IMO, you draft a player on the potential of what they might become. If a player is drafted first, or 301st, he should play when the coach feels he is ready, and his draft position should not be a consideration.

We were lit up by Marcus Mariota so I don't expect much. Thielen might be back, so at least the WR group will be a little better. Coker and Thielen actually give us a halfway decent pair.
-
Agreed, people who think we are tanking are wrong. We are just historically bad.
-
I am saying we could have used the first round pick on him, the one we originally had before we made the trade with the Bears. Not a great move, but certainly better than all we gave up to get Bryce. For that matter, we could have taken Hendon Hooker with the second round pick. Other than CJ Stroud, he is the only one that hasn't looked terrible (because he hasn't actually played). We would still have been better off.
-
Levis was a second round pick, so he wouldn't have required any trade package, unless we move up in the second to get him.
-
Don't know if I would take Rattler, but I agree with you about Young. If he played for Duke or Wake or Northwestern, he might have been a UDFA.
