    Well, at least we kept it close for a while. Our defense is not good, and this year is about finding out if any of the young guys have a future. The offense could be good if Brooks can contribute and some of the injured players come back. We are going to have to address the QB next year because Dalton is a good backup and that's it.

    Sorry, my comment was slightly tongue in cheek. I am not a fan of what has happened to college football recently as a whole, with the portal being a part of it. I am assuming one of the teams you are referring to is Army and maybe Navy since they are in one of the polls.

    I think the Pitt kicker would be worth a 6th or 7th round pick. Hasn't missed a kick all year and just nailed a 58 yarder like it was easy.

    The worst team in the NFL is probably between us, Cleveland, and New England, at least for now. As bad as the Bryce Young trade was for us, I think the Deshaun Watson trade was worse. They got all the negative publicity, plus a ineffective qb.

    He is a solid backup QB who gives a chance to win with a very good team around him. Nothing more, nothing less.

    Fwiw, the Bears are probably the best defense we have faced since the Aints game. While we are far better with Dalton, still not good enough to take on a team like the Bears.
