I'm with it. I get parsons and reddick vibes from him anyway. And he would be the safest pick out of the edge rushers we are looking at. You know this guy is gonna fly around the field hands down. I would look at drafting a more prototypical DE in the 2nd round next.

Tet McMillan: "I don't want to hear nothing"
CPF4LIFE replied to TD alt's topic in Carolina Panthers
I agree on Graham, what he does best doesn't take over games in the nfl and that was with him playing on a stacked defense. People didn't want to draft derrick brown because he wasn't Aaron Donald so I don't know how thats any different for Graham. -

I dont want no parts of a drake London level receiver and can't understand why would we after just drafting a receiver in the first round. I could understand if we didn't have a poo ton of needs elsewhere but this is how you stay an irrelevant franchise. -

We should randomly just pick a small good school guy who had a lot of sacks. Better option than Stewart.

I doubt that, we are a run first team who is looking to have one of the best tandems in the league next season. Tet will up the talent at Wr but If you think he is just gonna come in and start posting 100 yard games against nfl defenses then pass what you are smoking. Also you wont even see tet that much if are defense can't get off the field like last year. That impact won't be that significant, if it was you would hear rumors actually linked to Panthers. They know we need receiver help, if tet was on nabers on Harrison level from last year we would definitely hear chatter.

Stewart just doesn't have traits, he has shown elite traits. And he backed that up at the combine and the senior bowl. Whether he can put that all together in the pros is the question. But saying he wont because his sack numbers were low is a very careless way to judge.

They have similar talent with different skillsets to me.

Stewart is a perfect example of a player who's stats don't tell the whole story. He has all the traits for a pro DE. Nobody on that A&M team piled up sacks. Hell, Scourton had only 5 and is also considered a top 20 pick. So it's definitely more potential than production. But far as pressuring the qb production he does it really well. We had nobody that could do that last year, the sacks will come.

I will say I went back and watched more tape on williams and saw some things I like. I see why they think he could be molded. That size and length is just a unfair advantage when used correctly. But, I like shemar too and I think the sacks numbers are over exaggerated. He is a force with a high motor.

Reading the Tea Leaves: What Did Morgan Just Tell Us?
CPF4LIFE replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
The whole needing a another no.1 wide receiver thing is overrated to me and is not gonna make this team significantly better. We need a premier pass rusher more or take a receiver later that adds a different dynamic to the offense. But that would be a panther thing to screw this up.
