    Weird how Young is a bum midget in the eyes of ardent Stroud fans, but the Texans are less willing to draft Stroud 2 and would run to the podium for Young.

    It’s conjecture and theorizing. I’m convinced the only reason people even connect Stroud to Panthers is the size thing. Reich has always had large QBs ergo he will draft a large QB. It’s lazy analysis.

    Some Huddlers are acting like Bryce Young is dog poo because he is small. He is the consensus best QB in the draft. You have evaluators n record saying he would be regarded as a Burrow/Luck/Lawrence level prospect if it were not for the size.

    I would be happy with Young or Stroud, but I lean Young. If he were 5 inches taller he would be a sure fire number 1 pick. The only concern is is size and slender frame, but he checks every other box. Panthers fans need start accepting the fact he is a real option. The things that we rave about Stroud doing in the Georgia game, he did consistently throughout his career.

    As good as Luke? Never. He is all time, but we will get another stud there. We have been spoiled there for two decades with Dan Morgan to Jon Beason to Luke Kuechly.

    I agree. It would be unprecedented risk for any player, let alone someone with his issues. It’s just interesting that it’s seems that was the only thing that really mattered to get him.

    Interesting thing is it looks like he wanted the guaranteed money all along and he would have gone to the Panthers had they offered.

    In terms of trade/FA it’s pretty bad. I think if you want to improve you trade a late pick for Minshew and that allows you to draft Willis if you want and sit him.
