Agreed but we already knew this team doesn't have any depth especially defensively the only two above average defnders we have didnt play. Now had the starters looked like complete poo like years past I'd be right there burning the wagons with you. It's also an expectations thing, I know its been a a long time but fixing an NFL all time worst defense isn't an overnight thing. If Bryce can keep that kind of play up and we can win 7 games thats progress to me.

Watching it again it would be XL on the crosser in the regular season i also imagine TMAc would have had an option route to the inside for an easy pickup

A good cue is when the only two 0-16 teams in NFL history were 4-0 in the pre season. And four 0-4 teams have won the SB, 5 1-3 i believe? So what does this tell us? The pre season is meaningless. It's about individual marchups there is no game planning, situational play calling ect for most coaches.... Those 0-16 teams? Yep you guessed it they were known to have coaches who did both in the pre season.

It's pre season and it seemed pretty obvious the goal tonight was to evaluate receivers and linemen in pass pro... in the pre season its not about balance or game situations. And I kinda give him a pass for last year seeing as how often we trailed by double digits early.

In fairness there are probably only 5 or 6 QBs in NFL history that come close to Cam as an absolute game changer he was a generational athlete, I catch a lot of hate for it but Cam didn't come close to fulfilling his potential IMO Josh Allen is a poor man's Cam Newton had Cam been more a student of the game and worked out his mechanics he'd still he playing IMO. (Yes yes shoulder and all that but never did get his footwork functional) Also let's not pretend Sanders being a 5th rounder is all to do with his talent level dude would have been a MINIMAL 2nd rounder if teams weren't concerned about the Sanders family circus.

I'm not so sure about that Luvuu was very crafty with the 3 year deal he signed setting himself up for a good age 30 2-3 year extension if he performed the way he thought he would as a pass rusher.... maybe if it was a big big overpay...
