  1. I want to keep hearing this type stuff, and I also want to hear “introducing your Carolina Panthers new head coach : Ben Johnson”
  2. So we are giving information to media now to help our draft strategy.
  3. you are correct - i looked at the wrong column when going through the data tables.
  4. Under Scott Liinehan the cowboys had the cowboys a top 10 offense 2 out of his 3 final years. One of those seasons they had the 2nd best offense in the entire league. Not sure how you are attributing Dak's regression to his age... He is 29 and should be on his ascent to his prime as a QB.
  5. The problem is that he is not a good OC. Dak has regressed under Kellen Moore. Week to week the Cowboys offense is so inconsistent. They ultimately end up relying on their stars and not their game plans to win games. A large abundance of Cowboys fans would repeat this exact sentiment.
  6. Hahahah - I was just poking fun. I hope you read my intent as positive humor. I can’t tell if your message is sarcasm or serious, but just know that this was a humorous post and not a shot at you. I was more making fun of OP for talking about those kicks like you mentioned in the other thread about posters on here.
  7. Lol what? That is not how Greg Romans offensive scheme works at all… this an absurd take.
  8. He has been in the HC hiring cycle three straight years now. Obviously he has some sort of talent that teams are interested in. With NE they have had a lot of turnover on their coaching staff when it comes to defense but he has been the one stable piece and every year they are competitive.
  9. Maybe bc he only had like 3 defensive coaches? Wilks was running a professional football team down 6 coaches from the norm. We had Chris Tabor helping coach on both offense and defense. I want an OC coach too, but blaming Wilks for the defense is like saying a “Ferrari isn’t fast…” when it has 3 flat tires.
  10. The Athletic's Joe Person reports that the Panthers have requested permission to interview 49ers DC DeMeco Ryans for their head coaching vacancy. That makes a three-team card for Ryans as the Broncos and Texans have also requested permission to interview him. San Francisco's defensive coordinator has led the team to a No. 1 defensive DVOA finish this season and would likely pair with a Kyle Shanahan Tree offensive coordinator if he gets a head coach gig. Ryans would have been a good coaching candidate before this season happened. Now he's perhaps one of the best out there.
  11. I thought the NFL changed the rule this past offseason. Due to coaches getting pissed that they have to wait to make a decision due to a franchise waiting for another coach to get done in the playoffs before making a decisions. I could be misremembering though.
  12. yea i replied in context. I should have clarified.
  13. the tweet was about Steichen. Not the other coaches. I was stating that all of teams have a remote interview with Steichen.
  14. I think taking the approach of having Ben last is a good idea. You get to see all of the candidates propose their plan and then play that back against Ben's when he comes in. Get to see how junior/prepared his approach is based on everything that was presented.
  15. The conspiracy theorist in me believes the Panthers already have a deal in place with BJ. However, they are casting this wide net to give off the impression they did an exhaustive search and everyone a fair chance. Mainly this thought lives in my head based on what happened in the Giants and Titans coaching situation based on the leaked texts last year.
  16. Well... that sure is a different take on "heat of the moment"
  17. Calling to find out isn’t the issue. It’s people thinking that we would be in the running or stating Payton is saying no. It’s the saints who said no.
  18. Saints obviously said no. Not sure how we could conceive that they would even be an option.
