  1. I gone read dem contracts and saw dat his contract be too much. We have no offensive line, no money to buy more. Give too much draft spots.
  2. I think Stafford would give us a better chance to compete quickly. Watsons contract and trade requirements would set us back 4-5 years. We could compete with Stafford in 1-2 years. Longevity is the big problem, Stafford has 5 years left tops, Watson has 10-12 years left. Question is do we want to win now and need to retool faster, or take the 5 year plan?
  3. What is the team focus for the future of the Panthers, will the team focus on a strong to dominant defense or will the team focus more on the offense?
  4. I have an idea on a couple profiles. Mr Big balls is on here too, I’m positive of it.
  5. There are high Panther officials that peruse this board, make now mistake. However, if they did 1 out of every 100 things this board suggested, we would have a team with no coach or front office, and one player that half the board loves and the other half hates.
  6. I understand where the OP is coming from though, especially when the league has devalued the position for the last 10 years. However, I believe CMC’s best days are ahead of him, and it may not even be as a RB. If and when the Panthers decide to line him up in the slot, watch out. He is Ed McCaffery’s son after all and he has a tremendous catch radius. Good times ahead, if he stays healthy.
  7. I picked the wrong day to quit sniffing glue.
  8. Article from NHL.com states the following. ”Hurricanes forwards Warren Foegele, Jordan Martinook, Jordan Staal and Teuvo Teravainen, and defenseman Jaccob Slavin were placed in COVID-19 protocol.” https://www.nhl.com/news/carolina-nashville-game-postponed/c-320461732
  9. Several losing seasons, at least two, in my opinion.
  10. Neither would the multi-millionaires cashing in said government handouts, claiming to employ those without jobs.
  11. You should be ok as long as you are not part of the NCFAST project. What a cluster f*%k that program turned out to be.
  12. It breaks my heart to see human suffering, and watching that video is tough. I live in the Greensboro area and I do not travel to statesville often. However, I know plenty that do and I will pass this message along.
  13. I think a lot of businesses could drop the brick and mortar for the remote employee, especially in the service industry. Businesses will be adjusting their business continuity plans from here on out. Why not just pay for the employees internet and communication devices and drop the store front, it just makes too much sense.
  14. You are absolutely right. We saw tremendous economic growth at the expense of all environmental protections ever put in place. Trump removed most protections for the almighty dollar. Yes we benefit, no doubt, but at what cost. The short sighted decisions could have long lasting consequences. It’s why we should think before we leap. Now all of those economic heights are squandered and what does that leave us? Same amount of money with lower air quality.
  15. Let it go? “Let it go”? He is the leader of the free world, and the worst person imaginable to handle a disaster or catastrophe. We are forced to watch in dismay as he continues to blame others for his own faults. I suppose we should let the country go while we’re are at it. I am blaming his administration for finding new ways to turn Americans against each other, all during a crisis. Whether I like him or not is irrelevant. However, he is not promoting unity and patriotism during our greatest time of need. If this thread is to be reserved for facts regarding the coronavirus, then Trump should be completely omitted from this thread and any facts that are discussed. Trump’s credibility should dismiss anything he states as fact.
  16. That’s one reason. Opinionated news that masquerades as fact, has damaged our society, our way of thinking, and our country. I think opinionated news should be labeled entertainment by law, and forced to lose the “news” designation. How else can the feeble minded distinguish fact from opinion?
  17. I agree that the Democratic option was terrible. How in the hell did trump even get the Republican nomination? It’s the same as how the hell did Clinton get the Democratic nomination? Terrible choices that political appointees are selecting and the American public is none the wiser.
  18. Yep, I don’t care what political party Trump is currently a member of, he is a terrible human being. He was always a terrible human being so how did he get elected?
  19. Political Bias aside, this man is deplorable and reprehensible. It still amazes me that he was elected and that says a lot about our society as a whole. “It’s very very terrible.”
  20. They are both Coronavirus’ that preceded this one. We never developed a vaccine for either of the two former viruses. The point is can a vaccine be developed at all, if they are struggling to get a vaccination for the previous two iterations and had twenty years to make one.
  21. Can someone tell me where the vaccine for SARS or MERS are currently? Oh wait there is no vaccine, how strange. They both have been around for 10 years or more and they are both Coronavirus’. Yep we should have a fix in no time.
  22. God bless the folks and their families, that are about to die. No doubt we reopen and no doubt that more will die. It is inevitable because families can not sustain being jobless and must begin to get back to normal. The problem is we are effectively signing some people’s death certificate.
  23. Scientist now warn that all Americans should practice social distancing until at least 2022 or until a vaccine is finalized. Wow https://www.mdlinx.com/physiciansense/new-study-why-social-distancing-may-need-to-continue-until-2022/
  24. A winger is a position in hockey usually left or right that has offensive and defensive responsibilities to their side. The band winger was formed by front man kip winger and was well known during the glam metal phase. They had a huge hit “seventeen” in 1988. The term “winger” could also apply to one’s political stance, especially if they are completely consumed by a political party, instead of mildly leaning one direction or another.
  25. Damn right, chicks love nerds or at least our wallets! LOL I have a permanent tin foil hat, it’s why I have no hair.
