thank you...and losing has made it difficult to be a fan. it's just not fun for me to be a fan anymore. like i said elsewhere, i'm not ready to give it up completely but i'm not far from it. if we were to start winning, though, things would get a lot better. maybe that will start happening this year, but we have no identity and no wins. when that happens things get bad. many people (myself included) thinks that with better coaching that this team could be better. we got a guy who did ok as a college coach who has only proved he makes mistakes running the team and an owner who is fumbling a lot as well. it's up to them to show that they are better than that. prove the doubters wrong and build a winning program. either they can or they can't...and it won't take years to do it. if they can't do it this year, they won't do it under this leadership.

Besides Rhule what are your concerns for the season?
rayzor replied to Tr3ach's topic in Carolina Panthers
OL shuffling leads to lack of ability to gel (largely rhule dabbling) OL depth RB room (CMC staying healthy and i'm not convinced the guys behind him can do all that well) TEs DL (esp. DT) LBs game management -
it does make perma-banning difficult. there's still ways to find out who it is, but IP banning doesn't do what it used to. takes more work to keep someone gone. fortunately it doesn't take long to realize who some of the nuts are. they kind of broadcast it. sometimes they just announce it, "i'm back! you thought you could get rid of me but you can't do nothing" and then i just go ahead and ban them. it can be kind of entertaining for a minute or two.

i think rhule is jumping the gun here. should wait another week. pj might show us something special.

i usually do ignore it and usually this time of year i'm one of the optimistic ones. and ever year i call out people who constantly go after other fans who have a different take and who spend most of their time posting about their opinions of those posters rather than what is actually going on with the team. it's stupid. if all you do is complain about people who have a different take, you aren't contributing anything.

lol who said don't care about anything. just quit getting pissy when someone doesn't have the same viewpoint and feel it's necessary to call them out. so they are different...who cares? why should it matter? you can discuss without attacking/demeaning the other person for having a differing viewpoint.

why does anyone care about negative posting? it's always been the case that when people aren't optimistic and voice their opinion about the team that those superfans that are always optimistic feel it necessary to go after those who aren't. sooo...why care? why the crusade to attack all the fans that don't feel good about the team? i mean do the superfans get any brownie points for being defenders of the cause?

We haven't had a winning season in years and we've been stuck at 5 wins for too long. just because people don't think that we'll see much improvement at all under rhule, especially not enough to see us become a winning team, much less a playoff team this year and be frustrated about it doesn't mean they hate everything. rhule has to prove that he can make this team a winning playoff bound team. there's been nothing to show that he can be. until he proves otherwise, he's a losing coach and we're stuck in a holding pattern.
