Burfict is a fine player and I believe every great player should believe in themselves but unfortunately sometimes stats do lie.

 

You see the Cincy D was on the field for 23 more drives than the Panthers were last season. That's approximately an extra 3 games worth of stats to accumulate. So while Burfict did have more SOLO tackles he also had more opportunities to make them. Luke also had more splash plays with 4 Ints to Burficts 1. Its crazy that Burfict went undrafted but he was a tub of goo his final year, he put on way too much weight and he showed how not to enter your senior year and the combine. But its great to see him get it together and to be making the kind of impact he is. Good to see Levy get some props too, now if only CJ or TD could get some too that would be awesome.
