Defense might be bad, but ST blew it 2 weeks in a row...

For what, a season and a half (second half of 2012, and 2013)?

And even so, you gotta try to score points, and not just run the clock down for your crappy defense?

This is where GM comes in. He and the rest of the FO has decided to dump resource, after precious resource into that side of the ball. If the Defense does not carry this team he needs to be fired. It was his call. That is why he gets paid the big bucks.

I agree with you. If I were in charge, I would have opted for a more balanced approach thereby expecting much more than I do from our offense.

But given how we have operated for the better part of 4 years...we need our defense to be top 3 to have a remote chance because we have done nothing (except for KB) to upgrade any area outside our defense.

    • That’s not a bad idea at all. I was really liking the whole cali-style carne asada. We might do that next week instead of enchiladas for the rams. Was planning on: Saints-Gumbo Tampa-Cuban Sandwiches Seattle- Salmon Stew Tampa- Seafood Boil
    • I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy.   Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....
