Ryan Murphy (who currently leads the Charlotte Checkers in assists) has been re-called by the Hurricanes. Many have forgotten about the former 7th overall draft pick who has struggled to stick with the Canes during his stints in Raleigh. Hopefully Murphy is able to make this chance count.

 

In other news, Alex Semin has returned from injury meaning that only Andrej Nestrasil and John-Michael Liles remain on the injured list. Semin may not be ready for the game tomorrow but it's nice to see him skating again.
