It's the offseason. Still a few weeks until football starts. I NEEDED something to get me going. So I made some "mini" promos and pump ups for my Instagram (only allows a 15 second video - which is pretty lame). Anyways, thought I'd share in hope that you all could get a little taste of Panther football.

And on a side note, I have interned with the Arena Football League for 3 years now, and have had the honor this year of making pump up videos that are played before player entrances and kickoff to pump up the team and crowd over the jumbo tron. Here is one of them...and yes, that song is from the Panthers pump up game day opener last year, so I snuck a shout out to our team in over here in Seahawk country.

      Interestingly I think we have kind of of gone through this as an organization. Richardson implemented an FO driven tank. Bad roster, no cash spent, coach uninterested. It may have been for different reasons but I think the results were the same. A team that wasn't going to win many if any games. We ended up with the #1 pick. Cam Newton came in and changed the franchise. It worked, but Cam himself pointed to the losing culture in the locker room needing to be changed. It probably took about 2-3 years for that to happen. Tank worked pretty damn well for us. Cam is one of one. Not another like him, everyone can't deliver on his draft status AND change a culture basically on his own.  So as an exercise here are the last 30 #1 picks. If you tanked and got to pick #1 how many of these guys do you think were worth it? Not just good players, but franchise changers. Guys who will take your culture and shift it so the tank was actually worth it.
