Have any of you read this series? I stumbled upon it while looking for assassin pics for something else. I've read the wiki about it and it looks like it's a good book/series. I just want to get the opinion of those of you that have actually read it. 

 

Give me your opinion of the series and how it reads if it's something that is uptempo or is kind of slow to get into? And your overall thoughts on the story. I may actually try and get this book.
