Proposed rule change about concussions

2. By Washington: Amends Article XVII, Section 17.14 to place a player who has suffered a concussion, and who has not been cleared to play, on the club’s Exempt List, and be replaced by a player on the club’s Practice Squad on a game-by-game basis until the player is cleared to play.

I really like the idea of this proposal.  Seeing as how some one with a concussion is not like a muscle tear, etc.  The timetable is a complete unknown.  This would be beneficial and I believe fair to any organization that is in a constant sit and wait mode for someone dealing with symptoms.

It would also further discourage the hiding of concussions by players and staff as by disclosing it you would at least get an extra uninjured body out there. Win-win all around.
