Fanspeak Manage the Cap Simulation

Yesterday I was able to pull all this off with our current cap space.

First, I cut Russell Shepard and Fozzy Whitaker, adding about 3.5 million to our cap space.

Then I signed the following:

QB 2: T.J. Yates: Tried for Bridgewater, but he never agreed to the money I offered. A homecoming for Yates, who has won a lot of games as a backup in Houston.

WR 2: Donte Moncrief: We don't have to cap room for one of the top tier guys so I went with young and promising.

WR 4/5: Jeff Janis (GB): Special Teams contributor, and also semi proven role playing WR. You might remember his 100+ yard playoff performance against Arizona a few years ago. This guy basically replaces Klay IMO, because he can catch the ball when it matters. (See NO playoff game)

TE 2: Tyler Eifert: I kept trying for a 1 year, "prove it" deal, but couldn't get him to commit. Ended up signing him for 3 years, with about 4 million guaranteed.

OG: DJ Fluker: Former first round bust, but still young, decent depth.

DE: Julius Peppers: My first simulated contract, as I expect will be Hurneys too

CB: Sean Smith: Older player, but still an upgrade at our current #2 spot. This guy has more experience than every other CB on our team, combined. Also 6'3"

CB/S: Antone Exum: Former college standout at VT as a safety. Had some knee injuries cause him to bounce around a little bit. Young, athletic depth that can fill multiple positions.

S: Mike Mitchell: Another stop gap safety, but one that can play immediately if we draft another, so he can have time to develop.

I was honestly shocked I could sign so many players at roughly 22 million cap space. Still leaves us holes to fill, but we have Starters at every position, so we aren't in a position to rely on rookies.

what do y'all think?

    • Thank the gods its not mine, I barely have a active Instagram.......my algorithm was toooo much to understand with all the different topics I somewhat have interest in.
    • Your algorithm is fuged, brother. Delete that app.
    • I can not discuss Allen with Scot anymore, but I feel there are four in the same group and ANY of them would have the same success if not more than mahomes. Again Andy Reid is the best QB coach in NFL history. I dare to think the numbers Burrow would have without being sacks 60 times a year, Andy Reid's guidance, and KCs talent. Hed break them all.  I wouldn't want to see what type of system Lamar would do with KC, it would be pure nightmare fuel for 31 defenses. Hed have over 1k on the ground and 5k in the air and challenge Toms 55 TD total. Love to watch tho....
