Kobe Thread

Note to Mike Brown.

Quit playing Kobe so damned many minutes. I know you want to win and have no clue what coaching an NBA Finals victory would feel like with Lebron as your lead player all those years. But you're in the Big Leagues now Mike. This shiz is just foreplay.

Again, Mike.

Kobe is averaging 38 plus minutes a night during a condensed season with few off days and a season loaded with back to backs.

Pull your head out of your ass. Last year Phill Jackson played Kobe 33 minutes a night during a normal season with lots of off days.

Kobe is 33 now, he needs his legs. Think long term numb nuts.

Tonights game.

Outstanding performance by the Mamba. 33/5/4 with 11 of 18 from the floor.

Ramon Sessions really lit it up tonight. Mike, time to start Ramon and play him 30 minutes.

Text question to the fans tonight on the local telecast. Who should start at PG for the Lakers, Blake or Sessions? 86% voted Sessions (duh).

Lakers now 3-0 this season against the team that easily bitch slapped the Heat in the Finals last year.

i have never ever in my life pulled for the lakers but because of Sessions, i feel like i have to....as i have a personal connection with him.

He's from where I was born and raised, Myrtle Beach.............when i was a senior playing basketball at MBHS, he was an 8th grader that hadn't hit his growth spurt, and he was effectively the team ball boy....my ball boy. lol

Needless to say, that little guy i remember shaggin down balls for me to shoot around with is now the heir apparant to be starting PG for the Los Angeles Lakers. Just mindboggling to me. I will own a Sessions lakers jersey if/when they come out with them. Couldn't be more proud of the kid!

You really know absolutley nothing about basketball do you?

Well other than how to troll a thread.

Who's your boy on the court, Lebron?

He's a 48% shooter for his career. But also a coward, not a closer and unless Bosch and DWade gets him a ring will never be an NBA Champ.

Kobe is a 45% shooter for his career, but is fearless in the clutch and has 5 rings.

Deal with it. connie_27.gif

so not only does bron shoot a higher % over his career, he grabs more rebounds spreads the ball around better with a higher assists?

i guess if bron cared less about winning and more about personal stats he'd just chuck the ball everytime it hit his hands

how about kobe's 3pt %? care to throw those numbers up for this season while we're at it?

he'd have 2 more rings if he weren't so selfish and learned how to feed the bigs when he's drawing the double

maybe his teammates shouldn't trust him

Yeah that makes sense. Let's allow Kobe play second fiddle. That'll turn out real well.

Hate turning this into a Kobe vs LBJ topic but Kobe has a better career 3 point % than LBJ.
