joking.. after i saw all that crap about that pass , i had to make this didnt see that you already made the thread. i know P55 will be the first on the scene to discredit it though.

Who is discrediting anything. I said it was a good pass. Any completed pass is a good pass. And it was at a very timely point in the game. The corner had been going in single coverage for some time and the safety was cheating up. I wish they had called it deep to smith several times. And I wish that right after that on the next play, they threw it Smith again instead of running it several times.

My point was only that it wasn't that accurate or as great as people are making it out to be. Remember that the only other deep pass he made was woefully underthrown to Moose. I hope moore is great the rest of the way and I would be fine with him finding a home here. I attend each game and root for the team not an individual. I was in his corner all day yesterday.

Unlike you perhaps this is about the Panthers not individual players.

      I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.

      I don't really follow the team anymore due to a variety of reasons and consequently have largely stopped posting but I agree that this is a lovely website and community. This forum probably kept me around for years longer than I would've stuck otherwise because of how difficult it was to stop checking multiple times a day. Especially appreciate how lax the moderation tends to be compared to a lot of places, the crew here does a great job. Out of curiousity I decided to try making a new account (solely for testing purposes) to see what exactly is wrong with the sign up process. The issue seems to be that it never sends you an account verification email, thus making it impossible to complete registration. This is likely something to do with the email server upstream, hope it gets fixed. Also, lol

      Uh oh, Nicole Tepper hugged him. In all seriousness though every time I see more about him my hopes get higher. Smart, great attitude, prototype size and measurables, and athletic. He could be a great one.
