I'd rather have Josh Johnson as any of them but I am one of the few. The kid has a huge ceiling.

I like him too, but he really didn't look too hot starting for the Bucs this year. I was hoping he got cut before this season and we picked him up to develop.

I as well. I saw quite a few bad breaks for Johnson this year (dropped passes some that went right to defenders) and lets not forget what team he plays for and the season they are having and there talent (or lack there of). Put him in our starting lineup next year and I like his chances. Our running game would take pressure off him and he will have a better oline and better receivers (Smith>Bryant, Moose/Jarret>Clayton, etc).

The thing that I always come back to is who coached him in college, Jim Harbaugh who is one hell of a QB coach. He has said on a number of occasions that he is one of the smartest (football) QB's he had ever had. And the fact that Harbaugh being his coach for 3 years and teaching him combined with all his talents (both arm and legs) makes it even more conveniencing. I just think he has the makings of a pro-bowl QB.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
