Game 52: Nets vs. Bobcats

Offense:

We have 59 points against the worst team in the league.

We don't have one player on this team that I feel comfortable with the ball in his hands with the game on the line.

Brown looks like he is fed up with this play.

Are you serious?? Ray has won us many games at the buzzer and Jack is also a wonderful guy to have the ball in his hands at the end of a game with it on the line.

We need a PF who can play D, thats our main need.

Well as of now we have the second best scoring defense in the league and the third worst scoring offense in the league.

I realize that we have a top D but we have also no answer for a top PF like a Bosh, Dirk, those type of guys. Boris just cant guard them and we need a PF that can.

I wouldnt be upset if we added some O though, what position do you think they should address to add more O?

We are on the same page position rise. IMO, We need a good scoring 4. We don't necessarily need a guy who is gonna put up the numbers Dirk or Bosh put up, but we need someone is consistently good every single night. Which Diaw obviously isn't doing. Of course this isn't going to be a guy that we would put the ball in his hands at the end.

A move needs to be made before the deadline, it is a must.

    • It goes deeper than that for me. When I started watching the Panthers as a kid I fell in love with Mark Fields’ story during that SB run. He wore #58. Then TD wore it and kept the tradition of the being the soul of the Panthers. The next time someone wears #58 I hope brings that same spirit
    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
