I believe the Panthers are having a little bit of an identity crisis.....They love the guy enough to give him a big extension one year and cut him the next. Fox was in tears at the press conference so I can't see him supporting the decision to cut Delhomme loose. Throw in the fact that Fox was given the opportunity to leave in the off season and was not offered an extension.......It gets pretty easy to see someone other than Fox/Hurney are calling the shots here. Remember this is the first off season under our new team president it appears he and JR are flexing some muscles.

      The Entitlement Paradox: When Winning Isn't Enough for Panther fans.    Just the other season(s) we were praying for wins by any means. Brought in every run of the mill QB you could think of.  We know all sides of the ball was bad like egregious bad. However some how we have won 5 games and TOXIC ENTITLEMENT has emerged.    We are a team that has to take wins by anymeans nothing has changed. Keep pounding means it aint gonna be perfect!!    Some panther fans have now developed a toxic entitlement where even victories feel insufficient, demanding flawless performance, or perfection, which stems from historical success in which we dont have any lol. This mindset poisons communities by fostering relentless criticism, harassment, and ingratitude that undermine team morale and alienate casual supporters. For the new Carolina Panthers, this could manifest as fans booing Bryce Young after gritty wins for low passing yards despite low turnovers, pressuring tepper into premature changes mid-rebuild, or driving away talent through online abuse!! eroding the positive momentum from their recent 4-game streak has brought us.
