Thoughts on using AI for drafting?

I'm sure there are firms and consultants that use ML focused on super, duper granular metrics and projections. It's not like they're pulling my mock draft that I posted along with some rando YT "source" with 15 followers in his basement.

It's intriguing, though I'm sure it's just another tool used, along with hundreds of other, during the process.

"Now you're thinking like a true NFL GM. If you give me a list of your target players and draft spot, I can make a list for you that gives you the best players available for that spot. Would you like me to do that?"

This did make me LOL though.

It's becoming painfully obvious that AI is basically just the dot com bubble 2.0 on steroids. It will have use cases but like the previous bubble, this pipedream that it's going to be this huge economic panacea with tons of winners is just that... a pipedream. Hopefully the data center expansions keep getting shutdown locally because rhe only thing feeding the bubble right now is growing the bubble, it's not the product itself driving revenue. It's just the infrastructure required to power the product.
