To be fair, in a normal offseason, he would have been scooped up pretty quick...

Explain. I would have thought considering how few guys made it to FA that he would have went faster if he was worth a 2nd.

SHERROD MARTIN.... 2nd round pick... CB that we let play some safety in a time of need...

That's what I've been saying. I think some people forget that the only reason he was moved was because we needed bodies there, and Wesley failed to make the transition. They drafted Martin as a CB because they felt he has the athleticism and skill set to do well there, so I feel he will be back at CB again this year.

In a normal offseason, he would have been a UFA, not an RFA...

Oh. Unless we tagged him but that seems unlikely considering TD would also be one.

  I would like to see the Starters in the first 2 preseason games get about 2 series each. The final game should be those that are fighting for a roster spot. Plus I don't expect to see any real difficult plays being run. Very vanilla

  AR was never ready to be the opening day starter, just like Bryce. These rookie QBs are rushed into service when they really need time to develop and learn without the pressure of being the immediate team savior. I liked AR with the right HC, not Frank, and always thought he'd need some time to get up to the NFL speed and competitive level. He probably would have learned over the course of the year that running repeatedly into NFL defenders as a QB is a recipe for a short career. Cam was the exception, not the rule.
