How's this for a read?

If Bobcats had the money to give, sure...

I don't see why it's so CRAZY. He has plenty of money, and more money will be had. He could sign a reasonable, short term contract, just to do something special. I think LeBron is revolutionary enough to at least consider it. Why not?

It's a stretch --- I know. Seriously, I'm not insane! haha Truth be known, the bright lights of Charlotte doesn't offer him much - in marketing terms like New York would - but the Knicks have absolutely zero talent and if he signed with him, he would be kissing away his shot at a title. Our supporting cast of Wallace and Jackson is appealing. We're certainly better on paper, than what Cleveland offers!! We're better that what a lot of teams can offer.

The Bobcats are really a good team IMHO, and if LeBron came, Larry would stay and a lot of other great players would follow, if only to be apart of something special --- for Michael. What if LeBron called Wade and said, "let's shock the world..." haha

It would be a way for a lot of guys to pay homage to their airiness. I don't see why the idea of far fetched? It's doubtful and I'm dreaming but take away the money aspect, and that's huge, no doubt, but the Bobcats are appealing.

Yes, high profile agents often jet to bigger digs. Orlando couldn't keep Shaq happy. He wanted Hollywood. Maybe Lebron wants Broadway? BUT a guy like Lebron coming to small city Charlotte? That would shock the world. Make it a secret --- keep the media guessing. Them BAM!!! Out of nowhere!!! He signs with Charlotte!! haha Maybe, underneath it all, Lebron's might try to be DIFFERENT and start a trend? :)

Again, I can't see a 8 year or 10 year contract. I'm thinking 1 year, maybe 2, long enough for Larry and Michael.

LeBron is the type of player you go over into the luxury tax for. Trust you will make your money back and then some. :D

would be nice but think people should know that even with the king the cavs are losing almost as much money as the cats are right now

    • The good news is that we are pretty uniquely well established to address all of our needs this season. We have $14m real cap space, and something like $40m in trade deadline cap space. Not sure exactly how that works out. But, we have the room to absorb any bad contracts. With recent rule changes regarding retention, that went into effect this season, we now have a huge advantage in the trade market.  On top of that, while we do have obvious needs, we also have a glut of talent in certain areas that we struggle to find ice time for. We are over-stocked on scrappy talented lil-guys, strong defensively sound 3rd liners and shutdown left shot dmen. Whether it's a package or separate deals, idk. But, one of each from Stank/Blake/Nads, Erob/Carrier/KK/Jank, and Walker/Nystrom; throw in some 1st round picks (and frankly any other prospects they want) and we should be able to come out with a 1b to pair with Bussi and either a 2c with size or a 2c and size.   TL/DR We got the money, you got the stuff?
    • I don’t  think 6’4 was ever considered small or undersized. Baby hands tho, yes that was his thing That’s an interesting idea, like an optical illusion? Sounds like you have personal experience with this!
    • in the 25' draft the Carolina Panthers had hired Brandt Tillis someone who actually understood how to build a successful team & build through the draft .  this team was yes mismanaged for years prior to Brandt Tillis joining the team in 25' & rarely done anything right in the draft outside occaionaly getting lucky on an UDFA such as Jalen Coker who's dad coincidentally happened to be a huge Carolina Panthers fan, hint hint  ...just saying
