According to that, Brindy is now on the third line with Walker and Larose while Cullen moves up to center a line with Whitney and Williams.

Thank goodness, it's just natural progression to his retirement and I think it will make us a drastically better team.

I'm just hopin sutter puts on some pounds and can take Brindys place on the third line.

Gleason is also ok he was walking with a boot on.

Finally! I love Rod to death, but his age has finally started to show. So much for a gradual effect, I guess.

This has been coming for a while now. Brindy's been hurting the team with his play. His +/- stat is absolutely awful. Not sure what it is now, but it was -26, I think that's before the Boston game yesterday. Now, I'm not one to look too far into numbers, but a +/- of that magnitude just screams that there's something wrong.

It'll be interesting to see how the 2nd line responds to their new center. I imagine the transition should be pretty easy as Ray Whitney is basically the dish master on that line anyhow. With Cullen playing with them now, I really like our 1st two lines.

I really think that Brind'Amour's only shot of helping this team was to get pushed down to the 3rd line. He gets way too much ice time on the 2nd line, and it shows. Hopefully now we'll see more of a quality vs. quantity teeter totter, and maybe get some good quality minutes out of him, now that he's playing less. He should have more energy when he comes over the wall late in games now.

Now all I want from the forwards is to see Brandon Sutter progress a little bit more.

Glad to hear Gleason's ok. We can't deal with any more injuries to our defensemen. We're wouldn't be that strong back there even if they were all 100%. Can't afford injuries back there.
