Which brings me back to it is the QB and not the OC that failed.

The OC/HC failed in calling the game, the QB failed in the majority of his execution of those called plays. I'd lay more blame at the feet of the QB if this was 1972 and Terry Bradshaw was calling his own plays....

And I'm sorry, but the Giants jammed 8 in the box all day and the Panthers didn't start throwing the ball all over the lot until the second half when they were down 2 scores- so the OC/HC failed more in the first half by refusing to adjust. Instead they stubbornly ran right into the gut of an 8-man box.
