The only thing confusing about the safety group to me is redundancy. Moehrig, Richardson, and Ransom all look to be good and potentially good box safeties. We never really got that ball hawking FS we needed IMO. It might still work out, but whoever is playing FS would be playing a position that doesn't fully play to their strengths IMO. -

Do you not remember what our defense was like with Kuechly? And then without him? Cornerback is the least important position on defense, followed by safety. The most important are DT's, then DE's, then ILB, then OLB, then safety, then corner. You build inside out and front to back. -

thanks @Captain Morgan as always with the updates I'm digging what I'm hearing about Demani Richardson. He's the guy not talked about as much. It seems they've got a good grip on what they have with him after a lot of playing time to close out 2024. Seems to have trust and I'm hearing good stuff.
