Three things that I really hope we get in the next coach

I think that kind of rests on the coordinators, which is what I think Fox's biggest flaw was. Fox can rally the troops, and he can get his coaches pumped up, but if his coordinators don't have effective "plan B" plans in the first place, then there's not a lot that can be done.

that's how Mike Tomlin is soo successful in pitt. he lead his men to battle but let the real coordinators do their job.

The primary job of a NFL Head Coach is to assemble, supervise, coach and maintain a high quality coaching staff. Show me a successful head coach and I will show you a coaching tree. That means they didn't just have good coaches in the begining but continue to recruit and train other coaches as the years went on.

Every head coach is a great leader. It is how he applies that leadership that will make him successful or not and his abilty to lead a coaching staff is in reality more important than his ability to lead the players.
