Actually, Marino's football smarts were pretty high up there. He could read a defense in a fraction of a second and have the ball out of his hands before defenders even got close. That's why he didn't take as many sacks as a guy who was such a statue in the pocket would normally take.

First off, I don't agree that he's the 3rd best QB. He's easily THE best QB, IMO. Nobody - NOBODY - in this draft has the potential Newton does and at the most important position in sports at that.

Not really that hard a decision, IMO. Some folks are just too afraid to fail to have any real chance of success.

Based on what facts?

I said he's rated the #3 QB by most experts who are actually paid to give their opinions, unlike us armchair GM's. To say no one in this draft has the potential that Newton does is plain ignorant.
