Columbus (27-23-5) Vs. Canes (27-23-5)

FSC 7:00 EST

After a horrible 5-0 loss in the biggest game of the season so far, the Canes need to bounce back in this one. The Blue Jackets are in the hunt for the first time in history for the playoffs, currently tied for 8th in the western conference. Corvo and the rest of the D had their worst game of the season and I feel that they will need to step up their game tonight with the likes of Nash on the other side.

Cam Ward will be in net most likely for the canes and the young phenom Steve Mason, who played last night, or Wade Dubielewicz will be in net for the Jackets.

An old friend also returns to town, Mike Commodore will be playing for the Jackets.

I'm feeling some redemption in the air and a nice 4-2 victory for the Canes.

Also I'll be at the game, it's also family night so 1$ hot dogs and Happy Valentines day!

Second game in a row, second time ever, I've left a sporting event early... I really hope we blow every game from here on out.. you know 28 game losing streak and we just have a firesale at the trade deadline and get a high draft pick and bring up some talent in the system for next year with Francis at the head.

    • Aggressive runner, hits the hole fast, and runs angry.  Just a few yards shy of the single game record for the team.  Absolutely phenomenal performance.  If the gameplan hadn't become weirdly pass heavy for the 3rd and first half of the 4th quarters he might have been flirting with 300.
    • I felt that way before the season started, but I'm sorry, he's already proven he isn't that guy, I don't need to learn anything more about him. He threw the ball 30 times today and could only throw for 198 yards, which was his 2nd best yardage game this year, he's just not the guy. Which means this season has already moved onto the 2nd most important thing going into this season after evaluating Bryce, and that's developing our best young players. You don't do that by only throwing 8 of your 30 passes to your best player who is still only a rookie.  Pepper him with targets and help develop him so he's ready to take a huge leap next year when we get a real HC and QB to get him the ball.
    • Every win comes from a non-sustainable source.  As CRA mentioned, Penix absolutely imploding against ATL, and then today, defense finally clicked and looked the best they’ve looked in a long time (and still have up 24 points lol) and Rico ran for 200+ yards.  We’re not going to get that every week, especially against good teams, which neither Miami or ATL are.  Both MIA and ATL are bad teams and Bryce still couldn’t get it together.  The defense (and team) had to overcome 14 points because of his turnovers again.  That was not even an average QB performance.  We are winning in spite of him.
