In 2008, we went into the final game of the season red hot against Florida tied with Washington for 1st in the Southeast Division. Since we had the tie breaker, it was win and win the Southeast Division, or lose and hope the Caps lose as well, otherwise there would be no playoffs.

I remember that game well. We dominated and outshot FLA 46-17, but somehow lost 4-3 in regulation at home. Washington went on to win their last game and the division, and the rest is history.

I am hoping and praying that history does not repeat itself tonight.
