O course, no trip to Spartanburg is complete without at least one visit to the famous Beacon Drive-In, one of the last restaurants in the country to still offer curb-hop service. But to really have The Beacon “experience,” you need to go inside and hear J.C. “call it!” Order up your chili-cheese-aplenty and enjoy the pile of fried onion rings and French fries, and don’t forget the thing The Beacon is most famous for – it’s ice tea!

For home cooking, you don’t have to go far from training camp. Just across Pine Street (close, but driving there is recommended) is Wade’s Restaurant, serving heaping helpings of a variety of meat-and-three combinations, along with their famous fresh-made yeast rolls.

Other Spartanburg restaurants you might want to check out:

Ike's Grill (off N. Pine St.)

Dolline’s (burgers and hot dogs, Clifton community east of downtown)
