Are you serious...wow Watchlist, a 'spy'...lol

1st time posting here by the way...Love this board

Very serious. I had a whole thread about it on the board before it was hacked. I'd had complaints about me and they had a spy in my section watching me. Then when I misbehaved, I was kicked out. I wrote a nastygram to the team, and was called by the team attorney. We had a nice sit-down discussion and things ended up fine.

Cosmo getting a mandatory sit down? I would have never guessed... :leaving:

The guy two rows in front of me had his PSLs revoked because of the actions of someone that was using his tickets. It can and does happen. The folks behind me have been warned twice and received multiple letters from the Panthers. They told me that if another incident occurs then their PSLs are gone. They said that they will never sell their tickets again for fear of losing the PSLs.

Well... I think it's a little over the top to hold PSL owners accountable for actions of people who buy tickets to the game. Even if you run background checks on people you sell tickets to, and require them to sign waivers and all that crap... there's no way you can insure that someone's not going to make a mistake or step over some line drawn by an event staff person who is in a bad mood.

People are gonna be people... and dumbasses are gonna be dumbasses. If someone gets raucous... just eject them from the stadium, or throw their asses in jail if it's serious enough. A simple letter to the PSL owner stating what happened is enough. If a PSL owner gets two or three letters within a short period of time, then yeah... have a talk with them. But to just up and revoke their PSLs is just tight-assed.

Enforcing something like this to the extreme will only set up PSL owners who can't make a game to just hold their tickets... and you'll see a lot more empty seats in a game. I don't think that's something they really want to see.

It's actually in the PSL contract that everyone signs when they purchase the tickets. It's been that way since day one. I don't think the policy is designed to limit the resale of tickets. I think it is there to hold people responsible for the actions of those who use thier tickets.

I agree that it's a little over the top. I also agree that it should be done as a last resort for repeated problems.

  • 3 weeks later...

Update: Attended the next game a was approached by the police stating that they needed to make positive id on me for a warrant. The guy wanted to get me for simple assault. But my wife also wanted to charge the other guy for communicating a threat, the officer working the case said that with my wife wanting to press charges against him, that we probably wont see anything happen. That the other guy would have to pay the same amount in fines and court fees that I would.

Lesson learned...always get the stadium staff involved, no matter what.

Dallas is getting their tails whipped...go Eagles...I hate Dallas.

See yall at the game in 2 weeks....
