DTs, CBs, & OLBs -- gathering the field

1st-Claiborne

2nd- Dontari Poe/Thompson or a OLB

Is a great draft to me no question, then a S in the 4th.

i agree with this a lot but don't like poe if we stay with a 4-3. Most of our good pressure is coming in the 3-4 base with Keiser and or applewhite as edge OLBs.

Someone help me, but I honestly don't see the fascination over Janoris Jenkins. I've seen some of his highlight videos, and nothing there makes me believe he's worth a high draft pick. Of course he also has a history off the field that draws many red flags. Besides, we already have a Janoris Jenkins type corner in Brandon Hogan. Why draft another Brandon Hogan? Now I'm a South Carolina fan. Last year I saw Alshon wipe the floor with Jenkins all game, and this was with Garcia throwing the ball. After that game, I'm amazed people are still on the Jenkins bandwagon.

The thing is you can't really watch his highlight films to get the full effect. Because if you really wanted to see a true highlight film, it would consist of throws to the opposite side of the field. He is in all likelihood the best cover corner in this years draft. And Brandon Hogan is no Janoris Jenkins. Not sure what you are talking about Alshon wiping the floor with him. Jenkins held him to under his average when guarding him. And Garcia was actually a decent QB last year.

I'd be down for that. I think the combine is going to send Poe into the 1st though.

Yeah he might, i put them both in there because i think one of them is going to slip to the 2nd round u can throw in the guy from washington too based off other teams needs im seeing. If there gone, a good OLB should be there when we pick. Either way we should want this to happen because we really need to get at least 2 starters preferably on defense out this draft. The more options, the better for us.

Need a ball hawk cb. Hosley and claiborne. Defense will have to force turnovers if they're gonna be more aggressive against the pass.

Need a space eater dt. With fua and mcclain, neither was big enough To handle more than one blocker. Not sure who.

Need speed at olb and depth. No one stands out in our range in first.
