Yeah another Peppers thread, BUT.......

This one I had to post. I'm usually a reader on this forum and have been for over 2 years. I think I have some insight, that has not been shared.

Anyways... The deal with Pep..... I heard from the mouth of his cousin, and no, this is NOT, I heard from someone, that heard from a cousins, nephew's, uncle's, brother. That Pep doesnt want to be here, cause we dont have a winning qb!! I responded, jake?!?!? The response was, "yeah, you got it."

This blew my mind!!! Yes, I'm a jake supporter. But, after the arizona game, he's on a short leash. At the moment we have nobody else able to do better at the helm.

NO, Matt Moore is not ready. PERIOD!!!

But I also have another opinion on Pep. In my belief, Pep wants to play in a 3-4 Def because, he's tired of getting double teamed. If he was to play on a team, as a 3-4 outside linebacker, he would be able to come off the edge, on more of a one on one situation.

Does anyone else agree with this. Is Pep a bit of a, well let's say it....

LAZY!!!

There's no denying his talent. I wish he would want to spend the rest of his career here. But in that case, things need to change drastically.

GO PANTHERS!!!!

Be easy, it's my first post.

Oh, yeah. this post was suppose to inform people mainly, that his cousin, said ----- the main reason he doesnt want to play here is cause of jake.

IF thats the case duck jake!!!!!

Silent Tyrant your point about JP being disatisfied with Jake is the pink elephant in the room in Pantherland. Ive heard the same thing from people I associate with that hang around JP.

We'll this was news to me, if you posted this somewhere. I'm so sorry for reposting another peppers topic.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Qb is arguably our weakest position on Offense.

This is true. But, can any Def Player, in there right mind call out a qb, without hurting their stock? It would disgrace them from being a team player.

Jake is now!!! And thank god for our O line, and Double Trouble. Here's best wishes that Jabba the Otah stays healthy. We will need depth there after FA loses.

    • I am high, but that’s besides the point! The blue line is not good right now. I’ve said it all year. I don’t think this group meshes well. Slaven has been just OK Niki up and down Miller up and down ghost and Walker have been your most consistent guys. Maybe it comes together more towards the playoffs
    • I was expecting to see more cap room moves by now, which may be to suggest that we are not going to be that aggressive.  I have mixed emotions about that (because I think we have 3 needs on D and 3 needs on O--starters).  If you look to the draft for 3 starters, that is ambitious.  We need 6
    • Yeah we shouldn’t be competing with teams, bidding wise, to sign a WR. There will be one for us and our budget.  I keep saying, how many balls will there be to go around anyway? One thing good I will say for this offense is the ball has been spread around at times. Seems like I remember seeing a large number of guys have caught passes in a game. Or been targeted at least. 3 RBs 4 or 5 WRs 2-3 TEs type of stat lines. 10-11 guys.  Not every week but that happens.    As far as WR in general, we need the smaller agile and quicker component to compliment what is there. After that it should be about depth, having good backups for the starters so we can run things consistently still, if a guy is out for a week or two. That is especially important in game where you have to finish the game with who you made active.
