Sleepers In The Draft

Antoher guy we should get is WR Lance Lewis from East Carolina. He's a hometown guy, Concord. He had 60 rec & 8 TDs. HE has good ball skills. Not lightening fast, but ran 4.5 40.

I think the Panthers can get him as a UDFA. If he is & produces, that would be a real sleeper.

Meh, 6ft average receiver. Nothing special.

Unlike Joe Adams who is an awesome K/PR

Sleeper = A steal

Id be shocked if Lewis is ever considered a steal lol

Unlike Dale Moss who I see being a ProBowl WR taken late

The whole point of being a sleeper is that no one expects the level of performance out of the guy (i.e. Colston). What does his height have to do with it? IF that matters, Adams is even less than 'Meh'.

Adams is well expected to be a playmaker in the NFL. Taking him in the 3rd or 4th & having him do very well is not a steal...it's a great pick. A sleeper, is a guy that is under the radar...Adams is not & has never been, it's his size that has him slotted there. I've been pimping Adams for a long time, but I don't think he is a sleeper.

I like Moss too, but that depends on how high you take him. He is a risk, b/c he is not likely to be NFL-ready since he's only played WR for 1 year AND in a lower level of competition.
