Ya he was a beast in 08 season but when has smith not been a beast lol. I mean just think if he had calvins build with his attitude and his innerflame be crazy to watch.

I really hope he can get into the postseason SOON. Working on his postseason resume is his only shot at the HOF. He had a good start.

Take Santana Moss as an example.

Tana is no longer an elite outside WR but in 2010 with the emergence of Anthony Armstrong as a deep threat on the outside Tana was allowed to play from the slot and Tana (an average outside WR) had a great year as a result, top 10 production: 93 catches 1,115 yards 6 TDs

You put any of the elite outside WRs in the slot the would post monster numbers.

Slot receivers have far easier match-ups then outside WRs.

Slot WRs are often matched-up with LBs, S or a teams 3rd CB.

Playing in the slot also makes it harder for DBs to jam them and also makes it harder to double team.

Fitz or any top WRs would kill in the slot.

But again, if you play a number #1 WR in the slot it changes the dynamics of your offense and not neccesarily for the better.
