Chris Johnson Trade Value

So, I've been over CJ2K for obvious reasons..... I finally decide to sit him this past week because he's sh*t the bed the first 3 weeks, and he goes for 15 points in week 4. Anywho, someone offered me a trade for him....

Chris Johnson --> Ahmad Bradshaw & Mike Williams

I know CJ is the better player, but anyone that has owned him in fantasy knows the headache that he can be. My other RB's & WR's are -- DeMarco Murray, Doug Martin, Ryan Williams, Jackie Battle, AJ Green, Hakim Nicks, DeSean Jackson, and Santonio Holmes.

Whatcha Think?

its a decent trade but you have the RB talent on your team to see if CJ can return to form and maintain good and more importantly consistant play. so, with the trade being a wash now..the upside to keeping CJ for what was offered warrants REJECTING the trade.

    • This would be a little ludicrous. The Bus looked so much more comfortable in between the pipes and was a huge reason as to why the Canes were able to fight back in Game 3. Had Freddie stayed in, the Canes lose that game 6-1 in regulation.
    • Back after email validation fiasco.  With all due respect, this is an awful take. Coming back from 4-0 to force OT is a huge feat and shows that these games can turn at any moment. That is much more promising than losing 4-0 or, let’s be real, 6 or 7-0 if Freddie had stayed in the game, and being completely demoralized.  Fighting back, regardless of the outcome, proves Carolina has the ability, and the desire, to be competitive and, as Game 2 shows, win these games. Not fighting back after being down 4-0 doesn’t show those things and is a worse way to lose.  There are so many in the board with a viewpoint that is the antithesis of Roosevelt’s Man in the Arena. This “It’s better to just get stomped than fight back from down 4-0 only to lose” is an extension of that.
    • I am fairly confident that won’t happen if Freddy is in net. Just from the few stops Bussi made it is obvious Freddy is a liability.  Bussi made stops Freddy could never make including that penalty shot.
