My Post Game Thoughts....

Keep Pounding

How many drop passes did we have?

I think it was like 7 or 8.. Also the two fumbles by Stewart and D.Will hurt us also....

Yeah Cam didnt play too well, but the blame has to go to the whole offense, including the OC..... On the 3rd and goal, WTH happened? A DL gets in unblocked to tackle D.Will for a loss........ On 4th n Goal Cam just choked on the throw?

The whole offense was out of sync, the DEF played damn good... IMO, a few sacks, 2 INTs one returned for a TD, held Lynch under 100 yards..... And with Gamble out, I could understand the secondary getting beat time to time. But overall, they played damn good.

This poo is pissing me off, when our DEF sucks, are offense is playing lights out, When our Offense sucks, our DEF actually plays like its a NFL DEF.........

I wasnt a fan of RR or even McDumbnutz when they were brought in... But I really feel that they are not the answer.... Also Chud play calling is terrible, this option read need to only be used 3 or 4 times a game, it is allowing defenders to fire off on us before we can get momentum to get a good gain. Run the ball like most NFL teams run the ball, I'm starting to miss Fox..... This crap is pissing me off.

On a positive note, Luke looks so much better at MLB position.... or he is just getting use to the speed of the game.. the only bad play I saw him make was bitting on the PA that got Miller open for a good gain, other than that he played lights out......

We are now sitting at 1-4, I cant see us winning more games then we did last year.... Maybe Newton is in a slump, maybe he will rebound towards the end of the season, maybe he will light it up next year..... But Im sick of waiting for next year... I want us to win every year........

    • And, honestly, there's only so much you can attempt to do in the draft. And every draft pick is a roll of the dice. But that's where grabbing a ton of UDFAs, and targeting the best, makes a big difference. Sure, their individual chances of getting a hit here is less, but that shotgun pattern might just hit something.  Right now, we need bulk, partly to rebuild and partly to dilute the deep level of stank that has developed on this team in the last six years. If we're going to rebuild a culture built around culture, accountability and winning, then these UDFAs we bring in each season have to be the wash water that gets out that leftover dirt.  Canales seems to be a smart, culture-first, build up the good ones kind of guy. I like that and I hope he can keep it going here. But he was working against a locker room that had been taught to lose and taught to distrust or ignore coaches. He's got his work cut out for him, still. He does seem to have it moving in the right direction and that's something I was pretty amazed with by the end of last season.
    • The most telling sign, IMO, of a team on the upward swing is who we lost in the off-season. Who left that even saw the field? Woods, Clowney, Sanders, & Hekker. OK...no big deal. Clowney is the only 1 that I raised an eyebrow over and I get that it was a money decision. No need to pay him over $7M to take snaps from our draft picks when he was just OK last year.
