Game 37: Charlotte Bobcats (9-27) @ Boston Celtics (19-17)

Boston - 28

Charlotte - 18

End of First quarter...

Kemba off to a rough start offensively and the team as struggled defensively so far.

Watching a stream online which has the Boston comcast telecast...and the two gentleman calling the game are the antithesis of unbiased journalism.

LETS GO CATS!

half way through second quarter, still a ten point game.

Charlotte players are getting frustrated with the chippy play of the celtics and the lack of calls going against Boston...go figure.

Anyway, hopefully Charlotte's youth can be an advantage later in the game if they can keep this close. It appears the players might be getting a chip on their shoulder due to the uneven officiating.

Charlotte can't catch a break...nice block by biyombo and the ball ends up in the hands of an open three point shooter who obviously makes it. Then a no call on a Kemba fast break leads to a Paul Peirce cherrypicking layup. fug this poo.

Charlotte 45

Boston 56

Halftime.

Its amazing that Charlotte is in the game considering the atrocsity that has been the officiating. I NEVER complain about officiating and I am the first to admit that Charlotte isn't a good basketball team right now. But id rather lose by thirty because we were out manned and out played (like vs OKC), than to be hampered by poor officiating.

Boston announcers are horrible.

They were appalled when Green wrapped up Biyombo on the free throw...I haven't seen a more blatant foul and they said it should have been a double foul??? lol, these guys are the worst of any opposing team's broadcasting crew. Unfortunately I have to watch almost all games via the internet and get more streams for the opposing teams...I've heard them all and they are by far the worst.

Yeah I left for semester two of my Sophomore year of college so I am watching online as well. Got used to listening to Curry and Martin while I was home.

Oh yeah, know the feeling. Been watching Panthers and Bobcats online since the fall of 2007, my freshman year at LSU. Far away the comforts of panthers in HD and Bobcats with Dell and Steve.

    • Seems to me that the Bucs have less fight in them now than they had in week 16. The real test is going to be if the Panthers can sustain focus and discipline throughout. With the Bucs being at home, maybe that gives them a little boost of confidence and energy.  Wouldn’t it be something if for ONCE the Panthers came out and dominated from the opening snap and just took this shook Bucs team to task?  If the Panthers see-saw form follows, we are in line for the W. Hard to say we have momentum but we do have a pretty clear pattern of following a loss with a win.  I’m going to say 24-16 Panthers!!
    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
