    Brett Kavanaugh Can't be Bothered

And another allegation: "Senate Democrats Investigate a New Allegation of Sexual Misconduct, from Brett Kavanaugh’s College Years" https://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/senate-democrats-investigate-a-new-allegation-of-sexual-misconduct-from-the-supreme-court-nominee-brett-kavanaughs-college-years-deborah-ramirez And from Michael Avenatti on twitter tonight: I represent a woman with credible information regarding Judge Kavanaugh and Mark Judge. We will be demanding the opportunity to present testimony to the committee and will likewise be demanding that Judge and others be subpoenaed to testify. The nomination must be withdrawn. My client is not Deborah Ramirez. (The new accuser from the Ronan Farrow New Yorker article)

The Chinese Has All of Hillary's Hacked Emails

You mean the IT congressional DNC computers that weren't hacked. https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/congressional-it-staffer-reaches-plea-deal-that-debunks-conspiracy-theories-about-illegal-information-access/2018/07/03/3f22786a-7e30-11e8-b0ef-fffcabeff946_story.html?utm_term=.a926c8154edf "Federal prosecutors concluded an 18-month investigation into a former congressional technology staffer on Tuesday by publicly debunking allegations — promoted by conservative media and President Trump — suggesting he was a Pakistani operative who stole government secrets with cover from House Democrats. As part of an agreement with prosecutors, Imran Awan pleaded guilty to a relatively minor offense unrelated to his work on Capitol Hill: making a false statement on a bank loan application. U.S. prosecutors said they would not recommend jail time. But the agreement included an unusual passage that described the scope of the investigation and cleared Awan of a litany of conspiracy theories promulgated on Internet blogs, picked up by right-leaning news sites and fanned by Trump on Twitter. “The Government has uncovered no evidence that your client violated federal law with respect to the House computer systems,” including stealing equipment or illegally accessing or transferring information, prosecutors wrote in an 11-page plea agreement dated and signed Tuesday." "The ensuing investigation attracted aggressive coverage by conservative media outlets — led by the Daily Caller — and prompted calls from Trump to prosecute Awan, whom the president referred to in one tweet as the “Pakistani mystery man.”" "“Particularly, the Government has found no evidence that your client illegally removed House data from the House network or from House Members’ offices, stole the House Democratic Caucus Server, stole or destroyed House information technology equipment, or improperly accessed or transferred government information, including classified or sensitive information,” prosecutors wrote."

The Official Robert Mueller is comin! Thread

"Cohen claims Trump knew in advance of 2016 Trump Tower meeting" "Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's former personal attorney, claims that then-candidate Trump knew in advance about the June 2016 meeting in Trump Tower in which Russians were expected to offer his campaign dirt on Hillary Clinton, sources with knowledge tell CNN. Cohen is willing to make that assertion to special counsel Robert Mueller, the sources said. Cohen's claim would contradict repeated denials by Trump, Donald Trump Jr., their lawyers and other administration officials who have said that the President knew nothing about the Trump Tower meeting until he was approached about it by The New York Times in July 2017. Cohen alleges that he was present, along with several others, when Trump was informed of the Russians' offer by Trump Jr. By Cohen's account, Trump approved going ahead with the meeting with the Russians, according to sources." https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/26/politics/michael-cohen-donald-trump-june-2016-meeting-knowledge/index.html

What happened in NC between 2004 and 2008?

"Obama mobilized the base: Perhaps more than any other candidate could have, Obama mobilized his core base in North Carolina in record numbers. At the forefront were African-American voters, who added over 300,000 registrations in 2008 and went to Obama by 95%. Obama also won over young voters by large numbers: 74% of those under 30 went Obama." "De-mobilized Republicans: N.C. Republicans, many of whom are aligned with the "values conservative" wing of the party, didn't seem to identify with McCain. The lack of excitement is reflected in the GOP's lackluster registration numbers in 2008. Of the 629,000 new voters registered in North Carolina between January and November, 54% were Democrats, 34% Independents -- and just 12% Republicans." https://www.facingsouth.org/2008/11/election-2008-how-did-obama-win-nc.html

The Official Robert Mueller is comin! Thread

I know it was 2 months and 50 pages ago but another Trumper conspiracy theory is shot down. "Former Wasserman Schultz aide Imran Awan reaches plea deal that debunks conspiracy theories" http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/fl-reg-imran-awan-plea-deal-20180703-story.html "“The Government has uncovered no evidence that your client violated federal law with respect to the House computer systems,” including stealing equipment or illegally accessing or transferring information, prosecutors wrote in the plea agreement dated and signed Tuesday. Federal prosecutors described in the agreement a “thorough investigation” that included forensic analysis of computer equipment and other devices, log-on and usage data and interviews with about 40 witnesses." And of course on Fox News' front page they post an opinion from some random Trumper that says the Justice Department is covering up a possible spy ring. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/07/03/justice-department-covers-up-possible-spy-ring-scandal-in-democratic-congressional-offices.html I spent the last year interviewing hundreds of people and chasing leads for my upcoming book –titled “Spies in Congress” – about the alleged spy ring believed led by Awan that may have operated in the offices of more than 40 Democratic members of Congress.

    Putin/Trump Summit

And then there is this: https://www.axios.com/donald-trump-foreign-policy-europe-nato-allies-worried-bd1e143a-e73a-415b-b688-d18ab2d902e7.html Scoop: Trump's private NATO trashing rattles allies "In one extraordinary riff during his meeting with the G7 heads of state earlier this month in Quebec, Trump told the other leaders: "NATO is as bad as NAFTA." An official read this quote to me from notes transcribed from the private meeting." "Trump made the comment after telling the G7 leaders that Crimea probably should belong to Russia because everyone there speaks Russian, the source added."

    Justice Kennedy announces retirement

Unfortunately there isn't much the Democrats can do to stop it. Their best bet is to try to get a Republican or two (Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, Lisa Murkowski, or Susan Collins) to vote against the pick. Flake and Corket have talked crap about Trump since they announced they wouldn't be running again but have still voted for everything Trump wants a majority of the time. Collins has a pro choice voting record according NARAL but Murkowski has a pro life voting record. As long a McCain isn't able to vote, the Democrats would need 1 of the four to vote no.

    Justice Kennedy announces retirement

If Trump's pick gets approved, Gay Marriage and Abortion will be overturned in the next 18-24 months.
  11. MJ had to pick one. Would give some info on him but he is a draft and stash guy who may never even play for us.
  12. I like how you added the word "all" to your statement when it's not in the article. Then you dare us to find a quote of Trump saying something that you just made up. The articles does say that "Trump calls Mexicans "rapists"" which he factually did. Here is Trump's quote: “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best,” he said in the same speech. “They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” So Mexico sends its people, They're rapists. So the article isn't fake, your made up quote is fake.

    david hogg

So there is a mass shooting going on and he see's a report about on TV in his house. He gets on his bike and bikes really fast for 3 miles then sneaks into a school where a guy is actively shooting and is surrounded by the police. He slips into the school and starts recording interviews with students and convinces a teacher to lie about pulling him into her class during the shooting. Then he casually strolls out with other students after the shooting is over. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/os-not-real-news-school-shooting-student-20180330-story.html "Hogg huddled with other students during the shooting, using his cellphone to record those around him. Ashley Kurth, a culinary arts teacher, said she taught Hogg when he was a freshman. When the shooting erupted, Kurth sheltered students who had been outside her classroom. "I physically grabbed David by the arm and pulled him into my room," she said. "It is extremely frustrating the kind of information that is being put out there." In an interview with Vox published Feb. 20, Hogg specified the time of his bike ride: 6 p.m., after the shooting."
