  1.   I hate that we are once again "Tweaking" the rules. But yea, what constitutes a Personal Foul is going to need to be defined. Not so much for the Panthers, cuz we are one heck of a disciplined team. But as a whole. Players, and coaches, need to know what the rules gon be.
  2. Broncos plan to test Thomas Davis "extensively"

I don't want to be "That guy". But...21-1? I know we are 17-1 this year. And we have won 22 of our last 24, including playoffs. But that 21-1 has me a tad confused. Care to explain. Or am I missing something.
  3. #1 Defense vs. # Offense Narrative

I just spent 10 whole minutes trying to find this out. I found nothing. So you will have to do your own research. But I get were you are drifting.   In todays NFL we are not the anomaly. But there are way more teams that pass the ball, than there are who play like us. Teams talk about balance. We actually achieve it. That makes it much more difficult to defend us. Add in the Sherman Tank of a QB, and we are basically one tough out.
  4. How Thomas Davis is protecting his arm

I had an ink jet printer, but I switched it out for a laser one. The pictures are much prettier. And I didn't need no fancy pants degree to use it.   As for Mr. Davis. I see a career game from him. Especially if they try to target him. He gon be one fired up mofo.
  5. I would also like to add. That the vast majority of players play within the rules. The only players this rule would affect would be the head hunters. Those guys that use their helmets. And those types of players need to be policed anyway.
  6. Coach Braylon Beam is Superbowl Bound!

Even the wife thought this was cool. Of course I had to explain it to her first. With the help of the gifs on the first page. Not that there is anything wrong with that.   I guess I am starting to get used to her becoming a Panther fan. Because it doesn't seem as annoying as it was a few months ago. Every fan counts...
  7. The only problem with that to me is. Cam has never received a penalty for his celebrations. Not sure we have to worry about losing him to this silly rule.
  8. Does Cam Newton stay in the pocket for too long?

I really like how Steve Young described it. In his first 4 years Cam was willing to take off if thins got dicey. This year he is willing to hang in there and wait for things to develop. Young said something along the lines of "For 4 years it was I'm going, I'm going, I'm gone. This year it was more I'm staying, I'm staying, make the play."   True the O-line is much better this year than any other year. But it is also true that Cam is much more willing to allow the plays to develop. Call it what you want. Maturity, experience, or what ever. But he is now a pocket passer that can and will run. But only as a last resort.   He not only trust his teammates, but he also trust the play. That is the main reason he has developed as a pocket passer.
  9. Broncos plan to test Thomas Davis "extensively"

Three things. 1) Monday during the media event TD shook Irvins hand, and Irvin intimidated that TDs grip was strong. So his arm is having no effect on his grip. So that should not be a problem with how he should play.   2) TD took a hit today at practice with no repercussions at all. I think that experience laid to rest any fears TD and Rivera had about how he would react to a hit. Everything seems to be full go for Mr. Davis.   3) If, God forbid, anything happened that gave TD pause about his effectiveness, he would make the right decision. As much as he wants to be there and help his team mates. If he thought he would be a detriment, he would not play.   So don't worry one little bit about this. There are 3 things that can happen Sunday. 2 of them are good for us. And the 3rd is probably not worth worry about.   All that said. If you want to worry. Go right ahead. But worrying over TD is probably not worth your time.
  10. More signs that the squad is loose

I heard earlier today that he took a hit on it during practice with no repercussions. Sounds like it is all systems go from here on out.
  11. What Broncos Fans Are Saying

How did I lie? You have not mentioned 1 football fact or stat in days. All you do is passive aggressively respond to folks making fun of you.   You have made it abundantly clear you are not here for the football. I just showed you what we see. No lie involved. Unless you count your own useless contributions.   Any way. I'm done with you. Buh bye.

      Fixed it for you.
  13. DOUG Stewart goes off about Rodney Harrison

Around the Horn all gave him a bad time yesterday. I have also heard other talking heads say he went overboard.   Some were saying that YES you try and hit him hard, and if that puts him out then ok. But saying you want to injure him on purpose is over the line.   You do not take a mans livelihood away on purpose. It just is not done in a civilized society.
