Bro. I feel your pain. Not even trying to be provocative whatsoever either. I've had friends where once I was driving through their neighborhood and I see a dude on the side of the street so I roll down the window and say "Hey have you seen Jolly?" Dude straight pulls a gun on me and asks me wtf am I doing around here. All I could say was.. Man.. I'm literally just trying to get some games of Madden in what the fug. Then. On another occassion I get asked to come pick up another friend. I get there knock on the door and as soon as I step inside the house all I can hear from his mom is "What the fug is this white boy doing in my house! Get the fug out of here white boy and get off my lawn while your at it".. Oookay. Nice to meet you too. All he could do was say man.. She's tripping. So yeah. I hate to say it and no matter how cliche it sounds but the pooh runs both ways man.
THAT is why I am and have been arguing that this crap goes on for both sides. And I don't give a pooh which side you are on. NEITHER of them are right. Believe it or not. That's up to you man but trust me.. The poo is wrong either way.
Yeah I was doing a google search and figured it was mostly based of the census bureau studies and what not. Google brings up a bunch of random pooh.
PhillyB aren't you forgetting the Native Americans, Japanese, Irish, Jewish and a few others in your meme? Or is there only one that matters?
Also was that a recent in our lifetime photo? In the US? Or are we still just lingering on generations past? Just want to make sure Im following you correctly.
The fallacy of the undistributed middle is a fallacy that is committed when the middle term in a categorical syllogism is not distributed. It is thus a syllogistic fallacy. More specifically it is also a form of non sequitur. The fallacy of the undistributed middle takes the following form: All Zs are Bs.Y is a B.Therefore, Y is a Z.It may or may not be the case that "all Zs are Bs", but in either case it is irrelevant to the conclusion. What is relevant to the conclusion is whether it is true that "all Bs are Zs," which is ignored in the argument. An example can be given as follows, where B=humans, Y=Mary and Z=men: All men are humans.Mary is human. Therefore, Mary is a man.Note that if the terms (Z and B) were swapped around in the first co-premise then it would no longer be a fallacy, although it could still be unsound.
Exaaaaaactly my point! Its not a black or white thing. It's a everybody thing. So when you are ganging up on one particular race and placing blame and I decide to say hey! Guess what! You aren't innocent yourselves to make a point that we all should look in the mirror instead of saying Yeah. I think we all have a little blame to share in this pot of greatness. Instead of taking the point being made you went full on with the "You're racist!" argument. Please man.. And I could have easily just typed in any race crime in the all great and wonderful youtube and brought up video's to show how we are all to blame. At least some are not scared of the truth but as I said. Most would rather just sit there and point the finger at everyone else. By your actions you especially! Hell you don't even actually hear the point out before you sit there and throw your labels out. Yet when the labels are being thrown at you. You just don't like that very much now do you.
Instead of logging on or off.. Maybe ya should just wake the fug up. Maybe you'll realize you're turning into the very thing you dislike so much.
Not really when you're the exact reason for posting the comment to begin with. You are so damn blind that you can't see for 10 feet past the bullshit you spew out half the time. All you do is sit there and jump to conclusions not realizing half the poo you spew is just as bad and narrow minded as the one's you take pride in damning. At least there are a few of us that aren't so fuggin narrow minded to see that HEY guess what! We are ALL to blame for our fugged up society in America which turns out isn't a "world view" what so ever. It's a view on the state of the country you live in and the society in this country. So get that poo straightened out while you're at it and for the love of god stop acting like you and whomever you are defending are completely fugging innocent. Here's a wake up call. White american's aren't innocent. Black American's aren't. Latin American's aren't. Insert the hundreds of races and cultures that live here. NONE of us are innocent of this. We all have a part in how we treat one another in today's age. The thing of it all is. When are we all going to stop blaming every fuggin body else and instead take a good hard look in the mirror and taking responsibility and correcting what WE can actually correct. If we could get everybody to do that then A LOT of this so called bullshit you despise and hate so much yet are just as damn guilty of doing your own damn self would slowly come to a stop.
Will that ever happen? NOPE probably not because Hey guess what! We are the America of not being humble and taking responsibility of our own damn actions and rather just blame everyone else.
Good Job Red. You are doing the exact same thing as any white guy/girl that see's a black man walking down the street in a t top and Jordan's wearing a do rag that thinks hey they must be up to no good and maybe we should lock the doors. You are just as guilty of stereotyping people as the next person.
So no sir. I think YOU need to fugging work on that.
I have noticed that trend honestly.. My view is if something is posted and its factual information. No matter the resource that brought forth the information or for what possible agenda that resource is trying to push is of no consequence to me or an argument. At least not in our forum. The debate should be on the facts and our beliefs that are supported by the facts only.. I don't believe its fair to criticize any one of us for simply putting out something that is actually a truth just because some ridiculous regime or hate group decided that they could also use it or manipulate it for their cause as well. It doesn't make it any less or more of a valid point for arguing. I don't believe its okay to pick and choose what we will accept purely based on those principles and stereotyping a person for bringing it up is actually doing the same exact thing that a lot of you guys on here feel so deeply about. That's not cool guys. Don't turn into the very thing you are actually fighting against.
Wait.. I'm just going along and reading and a lot of good points have been brought up by both sides in this debate however and please don't feel I'm picking on you because I don't mean to honestly but.... Why are you guys trying to derail a point of discussion on the topic at hand on by where it comes from rather then actually discussing the point itself.. That seems like a rather weak way of going about it and only needed if you have no real rebuttal.
Also... Why are we jumping to the furthest end of the spectrum by saying because someone brought this up it's only because "white people are trying to say its not their fault slavery happened".. That's a bit Ludacris.. Maybe they are saying not everyone is innocent in our history. There's plenty of shame for everyone involved. Then again maybe I'm wrong and that's not the case at all and they are honestly trying to push the blame to everyone else and not themselves. Who knows. Fun debate though.
