  1. We need a DE... so whom?

That's great and all but no rookie is gonna start and be consistent in our system unless he's Peppers 2.0 or Watt 2.0. We need a starter. Plain and simple.
  2. We need a DE... so whom?

Vernon. The guy is beast waiting to be unleashed.
  3. Brandon Marshall:"Panthers did everything we saw on film"

Wow. That's all we needed, huh? Could've fooled me then.
  4. Bill Voth: "Panthers Are Allowing Cam To Look Like A Baby."

Fug him. That's how I feel.
  5. Brandon Marshall:"Panthers did everything we saw on film"

I severely disagree. With the refs against us, our receivers not getting separation or catching for that matter, our protection getting overwhelmed, our playcalling being bi-polar, our RBs getting pulverized at the LOS, our Special Teams making mistake after mistake, etc a herculean performance from Cam was needed.
  6. Brandon Marshall:"Panthers did everything we saw on film"

Oher did an admirable job. Remmers not so much. Well, my point is if Cam wasn't going to be Superman that night, then we needed Shula to actually do some coaching, and he let this franchise down.
  7. Brandon Marshall:"Panthers did everything we saw on film"

Remember when I said that what we were doing to other teams wasn't special? That we were just just punching other teams in the mouth and bullying them? We met our match on Sunday. That was one of the few times this season where we needed strong coaching to win a game. We failed horribly on that spectrum. I know I'm beating a dead horse here but Shula's "intellect" shined ever so brightly when we needed him to do something that didn't require Cam to be Superman.
  8. Giants release Beason, considering retirement.

It's Beason we're talking about here. He's qualified for almost anything within the organization. The guy could be a scout or media personality or positional coach or nutritionist or etc etc etc. Jon is very, very bright. It's not like we're calling for Smitty (as much as I love him) to get a job.
  9. Giants release Beason, considering retirement.

Bring him in ASAP. We need to continue to build on strong leadership. Nothing wrong with an embarrassment of riches.
  10. God Damn theirs a lot of pent up Cam hate

Good. Like someone already referenced in here, let's be the 80s Hurricanes and be the feared heel of the NFL. Please, please, please keep it coming. Keep fueling the fire.
  11. Brandon Marshall:"Panthers did everything we saw on film"

Shula is only as good as Cam. If Cam isn't making play after play, then Shula panics. Once again, Cam is the engine of our offense. Shula has never had a brilliant idea. I don't know where some posters in here got the perception that he has a tactical mind. The guy couldn't draw out a simple screen or playaction pass to keep the Bronco defense honest. Shula was never good. Period. Let it die already.
  12. Seriously wtf is this Charlotte?

Disgraceful.   We knew it'd come if we lost though. Everybody was just waiting for us to slip.
  13. When Did You Realize They Weren't Winning?

When fugging Gano missed the easy FG. At that point, I left Hooters and went to the stripclub. I think it was around the third quarter. You can call my fandom into question but I just knew right then and there that it was over. All hope of a comeback died. Ugh. I refused to watch anymore.
  14. I warned you all but a good portion of you dingbats actually thought Shula was a crucial piece to our offense. That he was the reason why Cam and our offense had 'improved' so much. Hahahaha. Once again, let's all congratulate the bumbling idiot for finally following Chud's blueprint and allowing Cam to be Cam. Yes, I should receive similar praise for hitting quota this past month too (despite it being a job requirement). How does it feel now that our offense was torn to shreds while our savior of an OC couldn't decipher how to beat a pass rush. Player execution was only half the story.
  15. The complete idiocy that some of you continue to defend Shula. I mean, good fugging god. It's so easy to criticize Rivera for playing aging vets yet Shula is all the sudden untouchable and a genius. This is the same dumbass that failed to adjust after sooooo many up-the-gut run plays on first and second down that went no where, the same moron who took the no-huddle out of the offense (we literally let the play clock drop to 5 seconds before we were even set at the LOS) and the same buffoon that couldn't slide extra protection on Remmers' side consistently after being owned time and time again. Yes, Shula didn't overthrown passes nor did he fumble four times nor did he drop like 80 passes BUT Shula's predictable slow developing and one dimensional playcalling and inability to adjust proved to be the biggest reason why we never got into the game.
