  1. Getting Benji Back

Personally I'm excited to see what our receivers look like next year with KB back and other guys bumping down the pecking order thus getting easier matchups (assuming they stay healthy).  KB not only makes the unit better by just being there and raising the average but he lets guys like Ginn and Brown match up against different defenders and thus get more winnable matchups while Olsen and KB draw the worst of the coverage guys. I don't expect to go through the offseason without signing *any* WR talent but I'd be shocked if what was added was anything more than a depth piece or a roleplayer who could complete near the bottom of the order.
  2. NFL Turning Point: The Clete Blakeman Effect

I'll admit as readily as anyone that the officiating in that game was poor (at best) but some of the conspiracy talk is just a weeeeeee bit too far over the edge. The bad officiating certainly did contribute heavily to our loss but even with the bad / biased (intentionally or not) officiating we would have won the game had we not beaten ourselves with the most untimely turnovers ever and some really boneheaded decisions by both players and coaches.
  3. Is WFNZ in trouble?

I sort of like Mac's show, Frank's show (usually - sometimes this one goes a little wonky for me), and Kroeger's show.  Colin / Nate's show is just awful to me.  I turn it off / listen to something else during that time-slot.  Truly barely an upgrade over that Jensen fellow they had there before. I exclusively listen via streaming over my phone...and the promos are annoying as hell.  Not something that would cause me to *stop* listening though.
  4. This would be such a non-issue if people hadn't previously thought Voth would take a different stance.  What he's saying isn't much removed from the crap we've had to hear the Observer / [insert national media outlet here] spew about Cam for years.  He's not even the first local guy to sour me a little this way (I still like Voth and I hope this is a phase instead of becoming yet another professional Cam detractor / unsolicited indirect life advice giver) For now I just put him in the "shrug and wander off without reading his stuff" category.  The sad part, really, is that as an independent journalist he probably does care about traffic.  Myself?  I'm taking a bit of a break from his site - not because I don't think he should be allowed to voice his opinions but because they aren't even in the same ballpark as mine on this and I don't choose to support them.
  5. I just don't understand why so many of you are so desperate to "call someone out".  poo
  6. Im with Sean Payton's Vicodin.. Just ban me also

It's possible this is the first PU post I've ever supported - give the man what he wants!
  7. With Cam as QB do we have a shorter 'window'?

Nope.  He will be fine and his game will continue to evolve as he gets older.  Of all the things to be worried about this doesn't even rate for me
  8. The media seems to get it

Honestly I dont want him to apologize for a thing.  I love Cam as our QB exactly as he is...viscerally hating to lose and all.  We all fall in love with him wearing his emotions on his sleeve when we are winning but want something different after a loss?  I don't buy it.  Cam should be Cam - period.  I support him 100%.
  9. The Fall of Cam Newton

Cam was not even in our top 3 problems tonight.  Yes he could have played better.  So too could anyone else on the team. But if you're making a list of poo to fix leave him off it.
  10. Cam's pregame cleats tomorrow

Do like.  Those are hot as hell
  11. Coach of the year

so happy for him.  selfishly happy for our team too for having him here. Ive never been so thrilled to be wrong about a guy being cut out for a job.  here's to a few more of these for him.
  12. Double Greg Olsen, keep Cam in the pocket

I sincerely hope they follow his advice
  13. Eric Berry was awsome.

He was really good, really enjoyed listening to him accept his award.   Very happy for him on all fronts
  14. Now the NFL knows how Republicans feel

What the fug?  Some of you people need to lighten the fug up. Conan was hilarious
  15. Conan...that poo not funny

I thought it was hilarious man.  Honestly funnier than I expected - I thought the NFL would make him be boring.  As for insults not being comedy...I got nothing but many lulz.
